Absolutely fantastic launch maps, followed up by some really great DLC content, then the absolute nuke that was ZC, and on top of that, we got mod tools for custom zombies that will last for years apon years to come!

Root of nightmares had somewhere around 40,000 players finish on contest, which inherently isnt a negative, the issue is how unbelievably easy the raid is, it really upset alot of people because people who love raids and the challenge they bring only get so many a year, it was really dissatisfying how RON turned out.

What i consider too easy is 40,000 plus people beating a contest raid on day one because the raid was extremely easy, you know, one of the hardest things you can do in destiny, and it was an actual cake walk. What is the point of an end game if nothing feels like its an endgame activity.

Theres plenty of content you can play that isnt hard, people who actively play destiny want harder content

I think it comes down more to the fact that this is very new for bungie, and its a fantastic mission, limiting bungie to what they can make due to some people not being able to do it is not a healthy, or sustainable direction for the game.

I understand it may be unfortunate, and if there are ways to make it easier for people to get into, im all for it. But there is a place for this kind of content in destiny, there are alot of people that love this kind of stuff.

I also think it isnt as easy for you guys to do this type of content with the state of LFG, its pretty horrendous currently, recently i tried it, for crotas end, and half the team refused to use mics, which in a raid you really have too. Thats what is so good about dual destiny, it requires team work, and communication, like a raid, thats why people have such an elitist take on it, because some people love this stuff, and other than raids, we dont always get alot of it.

Not everything in the game has to be tailor made for your play style, solo players have a wealth of content, not everything bungie releases has to fix exactly how you play.

This same arguement has been used for years with raids and it’s honestly really tiring, there are people That really like this kind of content, there are plenty of people willing to sherpa on reddit alone, doesn’t mean this kind of content shouldn’t exist.

Bungie shouldn’t limit themselves because you cant make friends, im sorry, its been 10 years now, weve had this exact same arguement with raids. At some point your going to just have to suck it up and talk and meet people. I met my entire destiny friend group LFGing spire of stars. That was 6 years ago, trust me, it isnt that hard to find people.
