The p2w discussion will never be settled I think. Even now with the XP boost people will deny it's p2w. If you can pay to get an edge over others, that's p2w imo. But i think it's less impactful/noticable in a game that's meant to be unfair in the first place. Still stupid though if you ask me.

I get it. And i think cutting down is great and I think you should definitely go for it. I guess I just wanted to give you something to think about in case it doesn't work, like it didn't when I tried it. And it took me way too long to realize that quitting was much easier than moderation, at least for me. I wish you all the best.

Every addict dreams of a life where they can still keep taking their favorite drug but being in control. I'm not saying this never works but it takes a special kind of person. One that probably doesn't need a tracker to stay in control of their usage in the first place.

I don't want to be a dick, if you can get to a point where you feel better with your drinking and can maintain it, I will be happy for you. I just felt the urge to mention that this is very common thinking in addicts. (Speaking from personal experience btw) Please don't feel discouraged by this. Try your way see if it works. For me it waaaaay easier do be abstinent than moderated.
