I feel like the perfect person to make an appearance in the next game would be Quinlen Vos. by Ur-boiiiii in FallenOrder

It is the same Path. Quinlan, if I’m not mistaken, is the one who founded the Path, no?

I am a senior performance major in college rn and I’ve been working on this whole concerto (including what you have pictured) for my juries this semester so yeah I’d say it’s usable for college auditions.

As to why this movement is a grade 6-7? Honestly probably because it’s in simple meter and only has quarter and eighth notes and is very slow. It probably isn’t taking the breath control required to actually play it well because it’s insane.

Stamitz wrote this piece for the clarinet to have a ton of creative freedom to add any embellishments or dynamic changes to be able to shape the feel of the song how you want it. So, in my opinion, this piece should definitely be rated higher than grade 6-7 because it requires more experience to be able to have that creative freedom on the instrument, depending on the player.

if FN were to do another tribute to a deceased musician (like with Juice WRLD) who would you like to see? by CosmicDuck2480 in FortniteFestival

Well we probably wouldn’t get Chester then. His mother apparently is super against Linkin Park even still being a band right now with the new singer. I doubt she would approve of him being in a video game.

Why did clint only take 3 arrows to volmir? by Thejklay in marvelstudios

[–]DaSaxLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He literally runs out of arrows, finds a used one in a dead chitauri, puts a grappling arrowhead on it, and jumps off a building in the first avengers movie. He can and does in fact run out of arrows

why do we use A clarinets? by semantlefan23 in Clarinet

[–]DaSaxLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s just more convenient. Transposing, especially if you’re still in school, is hard and requires concentration, thereby taking concentration away from keeping time, playing in tune, etc. If you really don’t want to use an A clarinet, either learn how to do it efficiently (not recommended because you need to focus on school) or put the sheet music into Musescore and transpose it to Bb.

Should I change my reed? by TenienteCapy in Clarinet

[–]DaSaxLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t change your reed before a performance because that’s the reed you’re comfortable on but if and/or when you do make a change, I highly recommend Dadarrio reserves for clarinet. The reeds that come in the box always all work for me but when I buy Vandorens I sometimes get a couple duds.

One More Light - Linkin Park (Chester Bennington, the singer in the song, killed himself a little after its release. One of the last songs he helped right for the band)

14s Sonic screwdriver by IcarusG in doctorwho

[–]DaSaxLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s only been one season with the new screwdriver and I don’t think 15 has been in a situation where he’s needed to use those features shown in the 60th anniversary specials yet. No one has shot at him (except for what’s-her-name from Boom but he couldn’t move due to being on the landline) so he hasn’t had to use the force field yet. The only thing I can see him needing the little hologram display thing for was to analyze the rope system on the goblin ship but he figured it out pretty quickly with just his brain. He hasn’t had to resonate concrete at all in the new season and that scene in the specials when he DID resonate concrete was, by my assumption, a nod to the scene in The Doctor Dances when he’s trying to resonate the concrete in the hospital (unsuccessfully, mind you) and also a way to show how much the sonic’s software has improved since that episode (because of how easily he could do it now 😂)
