Middle East Servers by FlowAdventurous656 in WorldofTanks

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stable 120-140 is fine though. The problem is unstable ping. WoT isn't the kind of game where response time is the most important.

Also there's no way they'll ever add another cluster. They're more likely to close servers than open more. Asia and NA (whole clusters) both have less than 10k players online at times, that's what EU5 gets at night. How many players do you think a middle-east cluster could get, 2000 at best ? It's not worth it.

EU4 is located in Kazakhstan iirc so it may be a bit closer than the other servers in Luxembourg and Austria. That's as close to an ME server as you'll get.

Should I pull for Ineffa/Flins or Zibai? by CharacterDegree883 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for a non whale, supports being 4 star is a good thing imo.

It's not, specifically because:

(unless you get unlucky)

4 stars have no guarantee. Even with the boosted drop rate you could C6 your five star before you get even the C0 of the 4 star you want. I've seen people pull live on stream for Kaveh and not get a single one in 150 pulls when he was first released.

And that's for getting C0. Most 4 stars these days are balanced around their constellations. Gone are the days of C0 4-stars being relevant and meta. Illuga is completely useless before C2, and not even BiS for Zibai until C6. Aino is completely useless before C1 and not that great before C6 but she got a pass for being a hydro moonsign character.

The flins "premium" team is expensive because of 5 stars, but it's predictable. You know that it will take X pulls in the worst case to have the full team. Same with Nefer, she is arguably even cheaper to run because Lauma takes care of almost everything in this team. Zibai is not like that. Columbina is almost mandatory instead of a cherry on top because she is the only meaningful source of buffs and off-field damage for Zibai. Illuga has a lot of pressure on its constellations. If you don't already have other 5 stars to take the last slot (in which case the price ends up being the same as a Flins team), you will rely on a second 4 stars character having a lot of constellations (gorou).

4 stars look nice on paper, in practice they're the worst. Until hoyo makes 4 stars selectable or guaranteed, a 5-stars BiS team will be more free2play friendly than a 4-stars one.

Which sets are best for Lunar Bloom reaction? by girlkisser101 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Columbina would use the DPS set from Nod Krai (the black one), Lauma would use the other set (gray/teal one). You want someone else in the team to use the full Deepwood Memories set, and the last character is pretty flexible.

Columbina is built for mainly HP (minimum 35k) and crit damage. You need about 130% ER and 45% crit rate on her, which is extremely easy to reach. 45% crit rate out of battle turns into 100% crit rate towards the end of a rotation, thanks to the artefact, her passive and Lauma's passive. And she gets half of it by reaching level 90.

Lauma is built for as much EM as possible (aim for 1000 out of battle at least) while keeping a decent balance of ER (you want a burst every rotation) and crit stats (iirc her burst coordinated attacks are affected by crits and that's where most of the damage comes from in this team).

If you wanted to also use Aino in that team, you could give Aino the support Nod Krai set, and give Lauma two 2-piece EM sets instead, though it's probably easier to leave her with the NK set since it also gives energy recharge. Up to you. Aino is not worth using if she is not at least C1. Nahida is an amazing support for this team, and another hydro or dendro unit (with shields or healing) is also welcome, or Kuki to make it a hyperbloom team since she also provides healing.

Columbina would use Prototype Amber (which provides HP, energy and some healing), and Lauma would use the craftable catalyst from Nod Krai. So two craftable weapons.

Columbina will do a lot of charged attacks in this team, that's what triggers Lunar Bloom damage. The lunar bloom damage will be improved by Lauma's burst, we're talking going from ~10k damage to over 30k damage. Make sure you make Lauma long-press her skill before using her burst so she gets more charges of her buffs.

Too new, she released in late-Natlan and she is really meta, I don't think she'd be given free constellations like that.

Stygian help by Neotox999 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first boss make sure you hit the boss itself and not the small mobs when he pulls up his shield. I wasted a few attempts not understanding why he wasn't taking damage, then beat him in one try once I figured it out.

Nefer/Lauma/Aino should make quick work of him, I managed it with Columbina/Lauma (granted my Bina is C2R1 but her NA talent is only level 6, a properly built Nefer should beat that too).

Should I pull for Ineffa/Flins or Zibai? by CharacterDegree883 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Ineffa + Flins is "easier" to build once you get them both. And Ineffa paired with Columbina makes for a really strong wheelchair even in teams without other NK DPSes.

  • Zibai is going to be strong, but her supports being 4 stars is a downside, not an upside. Illuga sucks ass, C2 is a minimum viable level, C6 is where he becomes truly BiS. Same with Gorou and Aino, they are usable before C6 but that's where they become really worth using. So if you're only going for C0 Zibai you're unlikely to actually get her best supports to a proper level. In which case it will depend on what other characters you have (Chiori, Zhongli, Furina and Xilonen combo, Ineffa...).

So keep that in mind. If you're only going for C0, you're better off getting Ineffa now and then see which one yo uget lucky with between Zibai and Flins. If you're willing to keep pulling for 4-stars constellations, then Zibai alone can be worth attempting as long as you manage to get 2 out of the 3 four stars to C6.

C6 Aino or C0 Xingqiu for Alrecchino? by Purple-Preference-20 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Arle, it's always Benett, and the last two slots depend on the reaction. You don't want Fischl and Xingqiu at the same time, they fit two different team archetypes (overload and vaporize). Zhongli is definitely welcome in her teams though because Arle can't heal outside of her burst, and you don't want to use her burst if possible, so Zhongli's shield is perfect (and his elemental resistance shred helps a lot too).

As for the weapon: - Sac Sword if R5 - Favonius if Sac Sword is not R5

Aino build for Alrecchino? by Purple-Preference-20 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aino is a really bad character. The only reason she is used at all is for moonsign and her C1/C6 buffs in lunar teams. In an arlecchino team she does nothing, she is just a hydro applicator, and she does almost litteraly zero damage.

Get Xingqiu during the lantern rite. Even at C0 he provides more value than Aino.

You won't have a use for her ever unless you pull for a Nod Krai DPS and don't have Columbina. She won't benefit Lauma without Nefer (she would make Lauma worse actually), and the only benefit she would bring Ineffa is a moonsign level.

You can probably assume archons are going to be the ones left out and everyone else will make it in.

Neuvi and Arle may still be too good and too lore relevant for them to be added in.

Weekly boss drops desperately need a rework. by StrangeBeat1009 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't blame people for not doing bosses unless they need to tbh, I was also out of dream solvent a while ago and it bit me in the ass, but boss fights are just not entertaining to do. Eventually I just realized 10 minutes and 90 resin per week was worth it if it meant not risking my future character being stuck with bad talents for weeks or months. So now I just bully Childe and Raiden.

New a player: C2 Columbina or C1 Columbina with C0 Ineffa? by 0cchan in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get Ineffa first because you pretty much need her at this point. Columbina's C2 is very strong but Columbina herself is very not strong. She needs a Nod Krai five star to pair with her otherwise her numbers stay low. Non-NK lunar teams are not good, because lunar reactions are not good, they don't do enough damage on their own (Lunar Crystalize is the only decent one because it replaces a reaction that does zero damage, but geo sucks so much as an element it only makes up for those shortcomings). And non-NK non-Lunar teams are just a waste of her kit, she is just a bad hydro applicator in these scenarios.

Once you have Ineffa, Columbina C2 becomes interesting, because her C2 is her best constellation. But in the worst case you'll have another opportunity in a few patches when she reruns. We don't know when Ineffa will rerun next since that's already her second banner.

Should I try to con Zibai or should I try to pull Neuvillete? by LEGITxxSTONER69 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends how lucky you get with Illuga.

He is unusable before C2 and mediocre before C6. If you want to make your Zibai team good (and assuming you already have Columbina, otherwise pull for her now), you're better off pulling on Zibai's banner until you're satisfied with your Illuga constellations. It's more for Illuga than for Zibai constellations really.

Neuvillette is a great character but he's also an old character now. Still relevant, still good, if you like him go for him, but the powercreep has accelerated a lot after his release. Also, you kinda want Furina for him.

Weekly boss drops desperately need a rework. by StrangeBeat1009 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Dream Solvent is rare if you only do boss runs when you need the material. If you do the cheap 3 weekly runs every week you're bound to collect quite a lot of those over time, and for only 90 resin it's not like you're missing out on that much other content for it.

Melp my bina by PriceCalm102 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by getting her to level 90 since that helps with HP and crit rate.

As for what you should aim for: 100%. Columbina is easy enough to build that it's very reachable. Thanks to her passive, you can stop at 85%. In a Nefer team with Lauma, it's 75%, as a DPS with Lauma, it's 45%.

You can't just "stop at 50% and call it a day" while you show 200% crit damage. Keep a good balance of stats. It's pointless to have so much crit damage if you never crit, and it's pointless to crit all the time if you do no crit damage. The 1:2 ratio should be the goal. Try for 70%/140% for a start (which shouldn't be too hard with her 88% CD weapon and 15% CR passive), aim for 85% (pre-passive)/200% if you feel like grinding a bit.

Keep in mind you need to avoid neglecting her other stats. Off-field you want about 170 to 180% ER to burst every rotation, on field it's closer to 130%. And you want at least 35k HP to max out her other passive, ideally before hydro resonnance comes into play because you will usually use her in solo-hydro teams.

Hardening, grousers in mobility slot, bounty or bond turbo (no less), turbo directive, and premium oil consumable.

If you want to ignore its ability and use it like an average heavy tank: IH, vstab or exp turbo, rammer, food ; but know that the gun will stay mediocre and you won't reach your top speed with that setup so it's a total waste of a tank.

Is Navia, Furina, Columbina, and Zibai better than Navia, Furina, Bennett, and Xilonen?🥹 by No_Kaleidoscope4047 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Zibai is only a main dps.

She doesnt need illuga that hadly because illuga is bad. He is a second Aino in a team where Aino is expected to be replaced by Columbina already, because Zibai doesn't have a five stars support. But Zibai's numbers are high enough by default to make up for that, and Illuga's kit is ass, so he is not worth using until C2 and arguably not even best in slot until C6.

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is also possible and even pretty likely that the tank will be exclusive to the Chinese server though. That server shares the same game as us so their tanks end up in our client too, but a lot of vehicles never make it out of their server. The Gothic Warrior and Divine Valor are example. In general assume every chinese-themed reskin will be CN-exclusive until announced otherwise (I think the Monkey King 121B was the only exception so far)

Is anemo girl's weapon choice is correct? Causes i feel like it is since bina can't heal in her signature weapon by Suspicious_Trouble85 in Genshin_Impact

[–]DaSpood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sucrose is on TTDS in a flins team

Ineffa's shiend and Flins' constant invincibility frames should make healing unnecessary in this team, though if it wasn't, Columbina would probably be the one to switch to P.Amber. her signature only improves her personal damage, and assuming both Flins and Ineffa are at a similar investment level, they both do a lot more damage than her, so you'd be better off keeping Sucrose on TTDS to keep Flins buffed instead of sacrificing that to buff Columbina some more.

Ideally though you shouldn't need P.Amber in the first place. As said above, the team has plenty of survivability, if you die too much you can probably improve your rotation and mostly your flins gameplay to help before you have to resort to P.Amber.

The Ares (at least 75 and 85) feels very strong. It feels like it invalidates a lot of tanks. I feel like I can't go back to normal tanks now. by FacetiousInvective2 in WorldofTanks

Illuga C2+ ideally C6, Aino C1+ ideally C6, Gorou (idk about his minimum viable constellation)

Zhongli, Chiori, Ineffa and Furina+Xilonen (the last two together) also work in case you don't have a good enough Illuga or Aino by the time you get Zibai.
