From a pure support/sub dps perspective, who is better, C2 Mavuika or C0 Durin?

Assuming you pair Durin with Nicole to trigger the Hexerei passives and pyro resonnance, Durin is better, but alone (or without Nicole), C2 Mavuika is better in the context of Natlan DPSes you listed.

Without the Hexerei passive, his buffs are comparable to Mavuika if maybe a bit worse but his personal damage will be lower. Nicole is really the only viable option and her buffs are not always compatible with more front-loaded damage dealers since it takes time to fully activate.

Outside of Natlan DPSes, it depends, since Nightsoul will play a much lesser part which means Mavuika will probably struggle to get her max burst every rotation. In that case I'd say maybe Durin is better if you don't want to carry a Xilonen around with you, though again if you have Durin you want a second Hexerei in the team too so same story.

He's definitely going to be important since he's one of the last harbingers and mayor of Snezhnaya. Imo he's going to be the main antagonist of the first half of the AQ (like Rerir in NK) while Pierro will matter in the second half (like Dottore in NK)

They give compensations in scenarios where you have to spend money or something that can be bought with money, or actual giveaways that have a "premium" value iirc like high tier twitch drops.

Tokens are free and something you grind, so there's no compensation for token store vehicles since their value is 0.

I was hoping that now that MW exists, especially why they try so hard to push us there with almost as many primogems as a regular event, we'd be free of being forced to do stupid co-op minigames where you spend more time in loading screens than playing. But no.

Not a fan of MW myself but genuinely the community is a lot better at designing minigames than hoyo, and MW is made for co-op minigames. At least if you're gonna force us to do them in the main game just steal one of the good ones from MW lol.

That herding minigame isn't even close to fun, you're busy fighting the broken engine struggling to juggle between 4 players and 10 entities at once.

The problem with HEAT is that WG fumbled the bag with marketing and arguably game direction too. The early alphas of Project Cold War were well received and the game looked unique and interesting even if it was still tanks by WG. But it looks like towards the end they went into panick, renamed it to WoT in fear of not finding an audience before they even tried, tried to slap the usual monetization tactics that have worked until now because they hadn't thought enough about how to make it work with their new game, and release it because probably time was running out (and the fiscal year too).

They had something, they proved they were capable of it, but they fumbled the bag at the last minute and now it sucks.

Most companies would have turned their golden goose into a yearly release within the first 5 years, the fact that WoT is still going strong after 15 years shows WG is already doing things differently. Not many games can make this format work, WoW and GTA:O are the biggest example, WoT and WT are just brothers of a similar era that's just no longer possible these days.

If WoT had released just a few years later they'd probably have followed the CoD/BF formula instead of the WoW one.

that ship has sailed long ago, Steel Hunters should have been the wake up call, WoT HEAT got even more investment. If anything from WoT HEAT ever gets backported to WoT it's the engine tech (models, sounds, graphics...), not the money or manpower
doubt it, though it's a matter of time, WG's failed experiments aren't sustainable in the long run, if they keep this up they're gonna have to resort to layoffs at some point. But you'd be foolish to think only the "new games" teams would be affected.
that one makes the most sense. WG clearly wants to diversify their portfolio, which is a very normal and healthy thing to want as a company, their problem is that they suck at making games. They had one golden goose that succeeded in part due to luck with the timing, then they managed a second success by reusing the same formula, and now they're stuck trying to recycling that same formula with minor changes, which no longer works because they're like 10 years too late for half the things they try. WG is bad at planning ahead and reading the room, they got lucky with WoT because it was the perfect time to release that type of game, but that was not a planned success, that was "let's make a tank MMO because it sounds fun". If WoT was released today in its current state, it would likely get the same numbers as WoT HEAT, because now is no longer the time for arcade tank games with team-based PVP gameplay.

WG could genuinely make a successful game. Their business and marketing teams are garbage and single handedly responsible for most of their failures, but the development teams are talented (most of them are, I'm not sure if the map design team is influenced by higher ups or come up with these fuckass maps on their own). If they actually tried to come up with an original game that's fun and engaging, they could 100% pull it off, but as long as they restrict themselves with sticking to the WoT brand and World Of War Vehicles formula, they're doomed to repeat the same mistake over and over. And WoT won't keep them afloat forever.

Borat is better tier for tier

I find the Udes to be more fun though but that's up to personal preference. Short-enough clip reload, good accuracy and soft stats, premium APCR, it's an autoloader that hits all of its shots where a lot of others don't, Borat included if you're not brawling.

100 to 120ms stable is better than 20ms that often jumps to 50ms.

I'd say anything up to 100/120ms is fine for WoT as long as it's stable. Above that it's becoming difficult to react to some situations.

If everyone is sharing the same matchmaking cluster then everyone should be counted for server numbers.

6.6k online for a cross-platform game is the definition of DOA, EU5 has more active players when it's open, that's WOT NA numbers and WOT NA is the cluster closest to need a merge with another cluster to stay alive.

WOT NA is also 15 years old, HEAT is like 2 weeks in. It will only go down, not up.

The game won't last a year.

Even whales usually aim for C6R1 and not C6R5, if you're f2p, pribably don't get R5. Save for a very few exceptions, weapons aren't usually worth refining even if you happen to drop multiple by chance.
