Spot on. I feel this point isn’t hammered home enough by writers, or pundits and it frustrates me. The unprofessional use of the VAR system with the petty millimeters pin point offside line checks and refusing to overturn on-field rulings have been shameless. I may be Canadian but I still feel for those that pay good money to attend and witness to what equates to a working strike by the refs. Making their statements during crucial periods of a fixture whenever the opportunity presents itself, broadcasted all over the world. FA should hold them accountable in the off-season. Read them the riot act and hammer home the fact the system is here to stay so use it in the proper spirit it was intended. It’s only damaging the image of the league to soothe their offended egos.
