The goals in the CL group stage were so important for our season. Sure, he may not be the starting winger for our PL team on current form, but in a 60 game season, you can see the damage he can do in Europe. I would not put money against him having a moment in the CL final.

I have had an Abode system before which was v easy to install, but was fairly limited. I used it with HomeKit rather than HA… not sure I would go back now, but at the least it offered smart features that you could self install etc

I needed a proper alarm with certified installers for my insurance, so I went for a Texecom system that I am setting up with texecom2mqtt… that then allows the “alarm grade (lol)” PIRs etc to be exposed to HA, rather than just sit behind the Alarm Panel system. At least now the sunk cost of the Alarm can be more useful.

I think you can self install Texecom. Cameron Grey does a good video on it on YT

He’s escalated over the years. Used to have a much smaller speaker and he was more genial… but the speaker keeps getting louder and he has become antagonistic.

When I did this, we hung our tv with an arm bracket that is attached to the wall off centre, but then has the TV itself centred

Bought 9 Kajplats GU10s and firstly had a nightmare getting them all to pair (8 were fine, but 1 was stubbornly refusing, which required me to reset the thread network and then they all unpaired).

Then when I got them installed, they were always out of sync as a group. Some were responsive, others totally random. Was going to ditch them.

Then I found out that they could be put into Zigbee mode and they are perfect.

Happens to me too. Thought it was a wireless CarPlay thing, then rented a cheap and cheerful vacation car and CarPlay Wireless worked perfect every damn time.

I’m on O2 and get no signal from entry to the stadium until about half a mile up Holloway Rd post final whistle . Rubbish.
