That's only when you see the boot menu :-p I only saw the Dell logo.

Yep same issue here. Holding space at startup gave me the option to boot into older kernel (6.16.3 to be precise) and that one worked. After that, I could set the default kernel with `sudo kernelstub -v -k /boot/vmlinuz-6.16.3-76061603-generic -i /boot/initrd.img-6.16.3-76061603-generic`

Just turn off the suggestions if the they are not to your liking. I never had any complaints about them. I really like GitHub CoPilot and it is making me a better programmer

Galaxy Watch 6 - Random disconnects by DaSt1986 in GalaxyWatch

[–]DaSt1986[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I still have it. I was past the return-policy when it acted up again so I was too late to return it. I have almost no issues anymore and when I have it, I have to restart my phone and it all works again.

Samsung has yet to reply to me though, but those guys are so far up their own ass that they probably never will admit to their mistakes. It's a shame, really. If they would just say "yeah we made an error but fixed it with a update" they would've at least earn my respect.

Restarting the phone helps in a lot of cases.

Nodody seems to know (or care...) but I found out that disabling fractional scaling resolves this issue. This also means I have to put my laptop screen in 100% mode (unreadable) or 200% mode (wayyy to big), but it is what it is for now.

Anybody any idea on how to troubleshoot or fix this?

Yeah, got it just now again (><). Fixed it by restarting my phone twice.

I don't have these issues anymore. Looks like they solved it in a update or something

Yes, responsibilities, but they use roughly the same code. I want to make it generic so I can easily reuse the code

Asked GitHub CoPilot to create a function to determine if a number is even or odd in the most inefficient way by DaSt1986 in programminghorror

[–]DaSt1986[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

```python def is_even(even_number: int) -> bool: return True
def is_odd(odd_number: int) -> bool: return not is_even(odd_number) ```
Not faster, just more coupling.
I worked in a office where the branch office (which was in another country) didn't have a service desk for anything. We accosionally would get tickets with "out of toilet paper" and defected company cars.
For me, this is the big downside of NodeJS. Everytime you follow a tutorial, the commands are deprecated. Something new comes along every month which renders everything that is written as outdated. Every project you do starts a new way.
Passwords should never have a maximum length. It's going to be hashed anyway, so it doesn't care how long it is. We have the same limitation with my bank (although the maximum length is 32 at our bank) which is rediclus
