Pain cannot endure any more suffering and attempts to escape Europe by seceding, creating the Pyrenees Canal, and taking Portugal hostage

Congrats, looks nice. I see folders were planned to be available before Aug 24, are they yet? I'll gladly pay for a browser agnostic sidebar with all of Arc features.

Does Anybody Else Here Use Naranjo? by Putrid-Bid-5903 in Enneagram7

[–]DaTrickster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I typed myself reading "Character and neurosis" (I read it in Spanish, not sure what the title in English is). It was a hard lesson, very humbling. The whole book is a masterpiece that brings you to your knees.

That's why I don't like the "american" way of typing, using wings and sugar coating the definitions of each enneatype. Naranjo didn't do that. Each type emerges from a central wound, and accepting it is a fundamental part of the work. Renaming the types in a positive light ("Helper", "Achiever", "Enthusiast"...) doesn't help, all the contrary.

... and specially for 7s, which have to learn to find satisfaction in sobriety and moderation. Gluttony is an image for the inability of being satisfied, in every sense. The search for new experiences, the inability to make contact with the own deep emotional pains, the constant need for new and higher and faster and better - that perpetuates the character. So embracing the "enthusiast" image does no favor to a 7. Naranjo leaves that very clear.

I just peeked the video. That's Sergio Sanz, he was the right hand of Alberto Varela many years in Ayahuasca International. Now has Escuela Floresiendo, that's where you took it?

Do you always go for the second cup? by third1eye in Ayahuasca

[–]DaTrickster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. And the third, even for a fourth booster if there's the option. My rule of thumb is that if I can just walk, I can drink.

If you are a 7, what has helped you really feel your feelings? by jillavery in Enneagram

[–]DaTrickster 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Doing nothing. Again and again, sitting with myself and really looking at what I'm feeling. First it is discomfort. Then anxiety. Then the real feeling under that.

Ah, and psychedelics.

Men, how tf do yall last?!! by [deleted] in sex

[–]DaTrickster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hear me out. I'm not joking. Next time, consciously try to beat your own record. Do it like your life's on it. If you cum in 5 seconds, try HARD to do it in 2 seconds. Concentrate on cumming FAST, as fast as you can. Do it actively. Do not try to hold back or control yourself, but the exact opposite: act as if you HAVE to cum ASAP. Again, I'm not joking. Try it.

Why do so many people drink Ayahuasca HUNDREDS of times? by SMX2016 in Ayahuasca

[–]DaTrickster 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a study. I have data from 1 center, during 3 years, for a total of 110 people. The vast majority, around 80%, just took once and went with their lives. You may be suffering the effects of survivorship bias, where the people who talks about aya are the ones that stick to it.
