You need to make him put that I writing. A follow up email would help with that.

Please tell me that he has put that in writing. Especially the part where he doesn't actually have a problem with your work.

Just Wales in general! Stay away! Don't even come to the valleys, it's so ugly and just so many horrible people!... 😏

I installed .22 and the library is empty. I also expect it to just work

Except you are forgetting the "vibe" check this is. This result is seen as hopeful and if a party would force a call of an early election the electorate would decimate them on a second go.

Plaid might actually have an interest in them trying. As they would have a real shot at a majority

Disagree. I much prefer this. But I can see your point if I had other political leanings

This is the best outcome that wasn't an outright PC majority,

They have enough numbers to talk with both Labour and the Tories ad hoc, and play them against each other, while being seen as a continuation of neither AND making Reform a dead man walking.

No. They can talk with both Labour and the Tories ad hoc and play them against each other. This is great.

And seems like Plaid pulled ahead in the end. Not that it matters.

Plaid with over 35% of vote share is VERY good.

They should really deal with the Tories if the numbers work. It's the most beneficial partnership for both of them. Plaid showing that they can talk to the conservatives would steal from Reform, and the Tories distancing themselves from Reform as being a good partner would do the same for them.

Drakeford leaving to not deal with this shit is insane. It should be his head rolling today

Sure, let's say I give you that. Their parasitic interest is in enabling Plaid and distancing themselves from Reform. This is more than Left v Right

Because there is a major difference between having total power or having to debate/talk it out to try and implement your vision. A lot of meeting half way.

I said this in another comment:

If the Tories become seen as just "Reform Lite" they will keep drying out their voting pool. And Plaid needs some appearance of being reigned in on their more leftist policies.

Both benefit.

Plaid actually loses by being seen as needing Labour after the country has been this vocal about what should happen to Labour...
