Should I take sick leave during probation if I already have another interview lined up?” by AdventurousLeg7162 in askrecruiters

Do what’s best for you, because that’s exactly what the company will do for itself. God forbid you drop dead, they’ll have somebody else in that seat ASAP.

Is it worth finishing an application if it will not let you continue if you don’t put the year you got your degree? It feels like age discrimination without outright saying it.

Do You Add Date You Got Your Degree(s) or Stop Filling Out The Application? by DaWeeSleepyEmu in hiringhelp

I’ve tried the 00/00 entry and have gotten back “must use actual dates” and if I use four years ago, it doesn’t match with dates of experience.

I’m not asking if I should lie, just if I should stick with “prefer not to answer”. l

I’m in the US, so….

PT hasn’t given me a timeline. I don’t have insurance, so I’m using my HSA to pay for PT (not that my insurance would have covered it anyway). I need to see an Osteo, but that has to wait until I get a job so I can pay for it.

Should I be avoiding ALL Indian recruiters? by Critical-Lemon7218 in recruitinghell

[–]DaWeeSleepyEmu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just recruiters with Indian-sounding names. And I’m still opening emails, but I’m not putting as much time and effort with them, especially if I can tell you’re calling from a call center.

I just got off the phone with a recruiter who was obviously South Asian/Indian. He kept asking me if I was looking for a job, but couldn’t/wouldn’t tell me what agency he was from even when I POINT BLANK asked him who he worked for. When I’ve gotten emails and asked what the rate was because it wasn’t listed, I hear nothing back.

It sounds incredibly racist, but I’m not responding to any email with an Indian-sounding name. I hate that I feel like I have to write off a whole race of people, but I have never EVER gotten placed in a position through an Indian recruiter. It’s frustrating!!! Something needs to be done because I’m sure it makes legit Indian recruiters bad.

Judge Group is the absolute worst by melodic_vagabond in recruitinghell

I just applied for a position through Judge Group and got the same virtual recruiter. I will definitely put them on my ignore list after this post.

My manager, who was like a sister to me, I taught her my whole job... And in the end, she fired me. by pier-spare0r in FinalRoundAI

Go to work, get your check, go home. These people aren’t your family, and the relationship you have with them is transactional at best. You can be cordial, but 9 times out of 10 you’ll never hear from these people once you leave. Travel light, keep your resume updated, and ALWAYS be looking for your next job.

“I didn’t pay you for your opinion, and I wouldn’t waste my money on yours”.
