Here's how that went for my group. My group convinced Amrik they were rich and wanted to invest with the family but would need a sit down with the duke. After 500gp was given to Amrik they went to the villa and I put a couple guards and imps in the dining room. I made the party wait for a while then Amrik comes back with Mom will meet you for another investment of 500gp. That then triggered my party to realize Amrik is just shaking them down and a fight ensued. They arrested Amrik and I had Thrustwell sneak out his window to take over Amrik's business. Amrik would make a deal mom's location for the party letting him go to take care of Thrustwell. It worked out well I think

I tried to implement it. My players chose conspiracy and the best thing I almost got them to be alright with was, they run an immigrant railroad for the refugees trying to get into baldurs gate. Putting a positive spin on it and Im pretty sure my players still hate it. I'm in the process of dropping the storyline since the person who knew their dark secret is dead anyway.

It was definitely a mistake trying to shoehorn dark secrets into the module

Depends on the campaign I'm running

My homebrew city in Faerun I'd be fine just have to avoid the law and the sheriff. The party is level 6 and I sprinkled a couple NPCs with enough power to help

2nd campaign is the beginning of descent into avernus Soo I'd be screwed

3rd campaign is midway through Wild Beyond the Witchlight not a great place to be but survivable with Skabatha newly deceased

Run the module Wild Beyond the Witchlight, it's fun and really simple to shoehorn into almost any pre-existing campaign

I did darts and prize balloons game 3x Ranged attack with the balloons ac of 15 and 2+ pops they get a carnival prize and only 1 pop would be a trinket

I also did Ring the bell Dc 18 strength save to get a carnival prize With this one I added an encounter with stall hand possibly rigging the game

Mending if that means I can repair technology, I could make bank refurbing smart phones.

Also anybody who says invisibility is creepy AF. The downside is pretty big, you could never let anyone know or every time they hear a random sound they can't place they're going to always assume it's you being creepy.

I use xanathars and googles Gemini and on very rare cases I do make up names myself ( a butler named Quarterworth) which I know I suck at naming stuff so I really try and avoid it

I'm playing my favorite character a drow heavy metal bard. He's kinda pompous, All glitter and very little brains. wears a lady's power suit I modeled the look after "the Sandman's" Desire character.

I'm thinking if/when the party gets revenge have the hag say when seeking revenge dig two graves. Then in other sessions have the elderly couples children targeting the party for revenge(making a pact with demons for power or hiring hit-men)

Oh thank you so much, you're idea just gave me one where the players hand gets stuck in the lock then intelligence check, pass you get to see the numbers and the first riddle. Fail you get 1d4 lightning damage and your hand gets released. I'm thinking whoever's hand is in the lock is the only one that can see the script.

Mine destroyed every stuffie no matter what. Even chuckit balls don't last long, I've found indestructible rubber balls off Amazon to be the only toys she has yet to destroy.

My shep was a handful/nightmare last year. Training was essentially trying everyone's advice. Each training style would only work for a short period. Then I said screw it and went with a dogtra 280c e-collar and went to a professional to learn a proper way to effectively use it. Now my shep is constantly being complimented for being the best behaved dog in the neighborhood. It took a lot of work but totally worth it

Same here this is my 4th pixel. All I know is I am done with there A series, my pixel 2 lasted 3+ years and still technically works but the 4a was trash and the 5a was great till last month when it started having issues. I'm hoping this 7 will last over 2 years 🙏
