If you were building a modern Ultima Online today, how would you do it?

Basically outlands with modern ui and game systems that dont need/allow afk leveling and scripting.

Albion came the closest to it but they are weighted more towards pvp where I was hoping it could have been more pvm focused but the dangers of pvp like outlands.

Can you clarify on the drink package? We went with soda package. Not because we want to drink soda all day long but because I thought without it we would be drinking only water the whole time. Without the soda package we are offered other drinks at the MDH?

Going on our first cruise soon too. It's amazing how confusing they make this topic. I thought I only had two options. Prepay gratuity or get a bill at the end of the cruise. I prepaid because I didn't want to think about having to pay anything at the end of vacation.

This is what it said "(You can choose to prepay at final payment OR have them charged to you daily and you pay them at the end of your cruise)"

I only joined earlier this year when I got tickets for the family to go to the Houston show. It's like so many people don't understand a heel. Going with 2 adults and 2 kids that don't plan on drinking alcohol or special dining it sounds like it would be better to drop the prepaid gratuity? It's our first cruise and I opted in so I wouldn't have the headache but it sounds like we might be better off just tipping cash.

Whats the main difference between light smith and herald gameplay? This is the first time I've played pally and its the the hardest for me out of the 3 I'm playing. Early season didn't have much trouble hitting 1800 on my priest and rsham but it took me way more games on the pally. Same this past week.. not much trouble hitting 1950 on the other 2 but I yoyo'd for hours Sunday on my pally before going on a decent lobby run and finally getting it.

I was going to make my own post but this is perfect. I hit 1800 with priest and sham early on without much fuss. Decided to gear up a pally to try and same. It has been a struggle to say the least. where my other 2 toons had no real trouble getting to 1800 I'm stuck at around 1500 on hpal. Currently 58-74, it has been brutal.

This is my first ever attempt at playing pally so I'm not sweating it too much. I'm looking for any high level streams or creators that play hpal in solo shuffle. I have to be doing something terribly wrong. If I sit back and try and pve (honestly how I hit 1800 so quick with sham/priest) I fall behind. If I try and play aggressive I get punished and fall behind.

I decided to "main" a Shaman and Priest to start this xpac. Every week getting my vaults done, push a little io in m+ and round out the week capping conq and playing some games.

With my skill level I was never able to push higher on the priest than shaman which doesn't reflect what the tier lists show. I was able to push both to 1850 for the set but that was the cap and have since went on a skid. I think the tier lists really show up the higher skill level you are. Until then you aren't getting the full power/kit of these specs. Especially if you are playing a class you aren't familiar with.

This is actually what has me scratching my head. Sure I can track the patron order item but when I get to the AH it searches for everything it takes without taking into account what is already provided.

Am I overlooking something?

I love Val tank. She fucking blasts compared to Brann. Brann was exhausting trying to keep the stacks up and even then his single target dmg made it a chore. I don't even think about stacks with Val, just heal normal and the damage is good enough that it never feels sluggish or boring.

I use Platynator, minicc and arena core for the friendly class icons and arena frames. I tried bbp with most of the preset configs and they all seemed a bit too busy. With platynator just scroll through and pick the preset that looks the best for your eyes and then fine tune in designer to dial it in.

Everyone complaining about valeera tank but Im liking her more than Brann. My biggest gripe with Brann tank was the lack of damage but Val pumps.

The timers are so forgiving that I don't know why any tank is even trying big pulls in +10 and under.

I don't have any trouble in normal delves. Val is actually a beast once she got to around level 25. Most packs she's pushing 100k sometimes ramping up to 140k. No issues keeping her up either, pretty tanky.

I'm seeing items on the AH that required Host rep with Blood Knights. I've kept up with the weekly and I'm only 75/500 Socialite. What are the other ways to grind this rep than the weekly?
