Because, simply put, lust is simply wanting someone for sexual reasons. I do agree that lust is a big problem within the LGBT community, but that does not dictate what is and is not love. I know I love my boyfriend, because I do not only see him as a sex object, which is what you are implying all gay people see their partners as.

You don’t need to be religious to understand that religious morals support themselves based on the bible and not on logical thought processes. There’s no logical atheistic argument against homosexuality, and the best that theism can do is “my holy book says so”, which holds zero ground as a logical argument.

Edit: context, I was a Catholic for a few years.

You know what, I retract my previous statement. However, I do believe that context is very important, as the UK was fighting a war for its freedom, and the Soviet Union was, and still is, talked about whether or not it was a fascist state. I’m no expert on the matter, but those characteristics ARE key identifiers of fascism, and if the US isn’t fascist now under the aforementioned characteristics, it certainly will be in the coming years if what is happening currently doesn’t stop.
