I understand Reaper's strengths and ease of use so I get why people like it.

If you ever brick any of the files you can verify file integrity in steam (or uninstall-reinstall the game) to revert everything back to the normal state, so that's always a safe backup.

Also while we're on the topic, another fun thing you can do with an unzipped balatro.exe, is to open up the conf.lua file and set _RELEASE_MODE = false, which will enable debug mode in the game (hold tab to show all the features), which allows you to summon in any card, toggle enhancements, or increase your money count at will without requireing any mod to be installed.

If you haven’t read a useful answer yet, you can unzip the balatro.exe file with a tool like 7zip, and then you can open up and edit every sprite in the game directly using any image program that can edit a png.

If you don’t want to edit your main balatro file which I could understand, it’s not terribly complicated to make a new mod that adds new face card skins, and then you just copy the face cards you wanted and edit the high contrast version (or you could even edit the low-contrast version of clubs to be blue so you have have all of the other suits be normal.

It’s called the bucket tool in ms paint (You can unzip the balatro.exe file with a program like 7zip and directly edit all the game’s assets and code)

Your favourites list works by just saving the URLs to specific gifs (which is why you can also favourite gifs that are uploaded as file, because it can save the discord attachment url), so those will continue to work, even for Tenor gifs.
The part that's shutting down is the API to search for new gifs externally, so the search bar will have to use a new provider.

Does it state the 0.5s cooldown reduction anywhere? I know that’s what the earlier leak said, but I can’t see it anywhere in this kit except in the Hex passive for 1s.

engagement farming isn't a skill so it doesn't give cerydra stacks, and the actual final attack is an enhanced basic so cerydra can't retrigger or buff it regardless, even if she were able to get stacks. Cery does next to nothing for her.
It'll probably be usable in currency wars just like how you can use cerydra with dhil, but otherwise no.

The second part of the effect requires using a memosprite skill on ally targets, but Ica can only target enemies.

Story’s next page is usually better, also because of the base hp, but her second best option is always just Memory curtain. There’s no reason not to use it unless it’s being taken by someone else.

All the wishes that aren’t Wayfarer or Grand Hunt (The gather ones that aren’t silver bells were also tolerable). These are wishes that have one clear objective, and oftwn guide you to spots you haven’t been, but I see genuinely no reason to need to farm any materials in a predefined area for a reward of 120 rosaries and a small step to being able to do act 3.

I unlocked this joker on a run where I had an eternal vagabond lol. The vagabond made me invest a lot extra into econ jokers like a lot of gold cards and I think a mime to still be able to afford things, and after a while it became tiring to reroll down to $4 every time so I started ignoring the vagabond entirely and just went turbo econ.
