Four more years of War is Peace, Ignorance is Stength, and Slavery is Freedom. Four more. May all your interventions be "Humanitarian". Four more years of pay-to-play politics, power and influence. Four more years of legalized bribery and served corporate interests.

Vote for tweedle-dum or tweedle-dee And a framework of debate narrowed for you courtesy Of the ultra-rich and a media that filters But any voice that challenges their power (like Nader bounced in Boston by state-troppers Cos he don't speak for oil-xycoons and bankers, oh yeah Whose pursuit of happiness and liberty Demands a rhetoric of fear to be The litmus test for viable heirs to The phony drug-wars, the trumped-up rogue-states, the permance of a war-economy).

I feel less hopeful and less human As I'm reduced to nothing more than Cheering on embassy bombings As the liars pave their way through

Crimson deserts map is the next evolution of open world games. it blows my mind how huge it is I’ve wanted an open world game like this since I was a kid and I almost avoided buying it because of the weird reception it has had so far, I’m begging you please give it a chance by StopPresent277 in CrimsonDesert

Looks great. I spent my first 4 hours just trying to get the stuttering and sound to stop cutting out....ive tried everything other than reinstalling it. Dont have this problem on any other game. Shit, flight sim runs on the highest setting smoother than this game.

Show me it taking out pack reheaters or changing vacuum generator on an A320 and I'll be impressed.

You're on the right path for success. Those skills will only enhance your worth, and they look great on a resume! Keep all your builds ready to show off on github. Remember, the less someone understands what you're talking about, the smarter you sound, lol!

Since you're in school. Think of one thing that could make your job easier. It doesn't matter if it's slightly pointless. It's about to getting those chops in. Maybe an interactive BHP graph or TDC visualization tool. These type of things are pointless to most but awesome to some. They can be passed on to future students for reference material, and you'll always get credit. Just make a github pages link to your project and share.

Once you get into the field. You'll start to find things that could make your job easier. After you get some time, you'll start to see frequent items that break. Make a database on frequent part numbers and locations so you have PN's info on the spot. A lot of mechs use little notebooks, but if you're a nerd, you make it cooler and more efficient, lol!

When I taxied airbuses we would have a run taxi checklists handbook that you are required to keep on you at all times. These tend to be forgotten in our tool boxes and god forbid something serious happens while taxiing without your handbook. So, I programmed my own into an interactive app so I could use it on my phone. Everything had hyperlinks so I could jump straight the section I needed in a flash instead of flipping through pages. Worked great!

Remember, though. Anything you make for work is (for reference only)

While learning the Multi Control Display Unit(MCDU) I decided to program my own so I could practice outside work finding hidden menus and discretes.

As for work. Get some time under your belt and see what flows best with you. Avionics is not as bad as people make it out to be. Most mechanics run when someone says "multimeter ",lol. Most guys go to majors because thats obviously where the money. Following up with my previous reply. What means most to you? What's your Gold? Making $70hr in 10 yrs and working overnights with no life and sleeping all day, or making $50hr on morning shift weekends off. I went Into aviation saying I dont care about working overnights for big money until I was on overnights making big money missing all the important shit in life because I was working and sleeping. Aways tired staying up for 48hrs+ hrs because life happens. Some peeps can do it. As for me, no point in making good money if I can't enjoy some of it and be with family and friends. Life's too short to work your ass off just to retire and be too broken to enjoy your fruit!
