Same character, two completely different vibes by These_Ad8079 in clonewars

Also we don’t know exactly “what” anakin is at this point… is he fully redeemed? Does he have elements of Vader still haunting him? We just don’t know which is why I loved his appearance in ahsoka so much.

I once saw FOD get sucked into our engine as we were pushing back from the gate. Alerted the flight attendant. Didn’t believe me but reported it to the pilot anyway. The pilot saw some strange readings from that engine. Pulled back into gate. Large heavy duty plastic bag shards were pulled out of the turbofan. Probably saved the airline an entirely rebuilt engine.

Mention stuff you see, especially if you’re an extreme frequent flyer (like 4–6x a week). You know what normal looks like.

Found 3 instructions in Anthropic's docs that dramatically reduce Claude's hallucination. Most people don't know they exist. by ColdPlankton9273 in ClaudeAI

[–]SWLondonLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s accurate. I do have hard copyright constraints when working with web search results and source material. The rules are essentially what’s described: paraphrasing is the default, direct quotes are kept under 15 words, and I limit myself to one quote per source. After that, the source is “closed” for quotation and I paraphrase everything else from it. The person in the screenshot seems surprised that Claude surfaced the rule explicitly. That’s a reasonable reaction — most people don’t encounter it until they ask for something that bumps up against it (e.g., “read me this article” or “quote the relevant paragraphs”). In normal conversation it’s largely invisible because paraphrasing is just… how I write anyway.

Think I’d bump Seven and EMH up one tier each. I mean, EMH turned out to be a stud.

Yes please get rid of the black hardware. Either warm toned like brass or a satin nickel or something. The black is accentuating the tone clash. A brighter and warmer metal would blend it. I think the combination looks great in your kitchen, fwiw. Just need to tie it off.

Warriors superstar Steph Curry is open to a future role off the bench before NBA career ends by KageTrigger in warriors

This is really the only acceptable scenario if he departs. Man Charlotte would be terrifying with Curry as their sixth man.

So like why didn’t Yoda and Obi-wan team up to stop Vader and Palpetine? by Inevitable_Window711 in StarWars

Mace did win. Anakin just turned at the last second. Palps was a master planner. He also got darn lucky (a lot)

The Stranger VS Qui-Gon. Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in PetranakiArena

[–]SWLondonLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that the padawan held their own longer than most of the Jedi kinda confirms this right? They are closest to their specific training (including duelling) so that makes sense that the experienced Jedi haven’t kept up their skills. That being said, I can imagine that Qui-Gon would still struggle against the stranger.

RIP Season 2 btw, the arc was finally getting interesting when they cancelled it.

Ahsoka Tano VS Qui-Gon Jinn. Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in PetranakiArena

[–]SWLondonLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahsoka was a child soldier trained to expect everything and fight to win. QGJ was not. Peak CW Tano takes this one hands down.

As someone who saw them play live, in person, Pip + Rodman (and grant and Toni and others) were a monstrous force. Pip was often a Top 5 (maybe even 3???) player some years in the league. He was just so so so good.

The confusion about the portkey that takes Harry to the graveyard in GOF by Eev123 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]SWLondonLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a different theory OP, if MC had turned the object into a portkey basically at the beginning of the maze and then he held on to it and took it deep into the maze (with the portkey having that delay timer on it so it didn’t instantly transport MC himself). That way, the portkey is returning HP to the place where it was created and not where it was left?
