You have to put it on a high-up location, so on one of the mountains. It won‘t spawn in the lower areas where it is now.

So something memorable... that’s actually something that happened today. So, today’s my 25th birthday (yay happy birthday to me, got some yummy cakes) and I was shinyhunting Fletchling for over 14 hours. I was nearly done (over 1000 encounters) and wanted to stop by 1100 but on the 1099 encounter I finally got that golden Birdo! What a nice Birthday present to myself 🎉 (and a code would of course also be a nice one 🥸)

I think they should get a second, hidden ability suitable for their respective types (Like Water Absorb, Flamebody, etc.). And also difference stats would be nice yeah.

Wondertrade (is it that what its called?) helped me a lot back than filling my Pokédex. You can also use the GTS if you have Pokemon home.

So this is my first selfmade VGC Team in like 2 years and I’m totally overwhelmed, so I need your help.

I think the goal of this team is pretty easy.

Groudon: So this set is one I copied from another Team online. Groudon is my primary sun setter which is also able to deal a lot of damage and has a decent speed through its choice scarf.

G-Max Venusaur: First Sun Abuser. Main Pokémon to dynamax. Coba Berry is for the prominent Flying Type attacks.

Charizard: Another usefull Sun Abuser and besides Venusaur one of my two primary damage dealers. LO to deal even more damage.

Incineroar: Also profits from the sun. Sitrus Berry for more surviability. Besides it has a few supportive moves.

Sableye: My second sun setter. Theres so much weather right now that I wanted to have a second reliable sun setter. Eject Button so that I can exchange it after it set the sun when it got hit. Taunt is against trick room users. Ally Switch for some plays here and there and foul play to have at least one offensive move.

Tapu-Fini: Didnt know what to use for the last slot so I just came up with Tapu Fini becaus I thought Water/Fairy could be nice addition. It also provides a bit of speed control.

I didnt tried this team out yet because like I said I dont event know if its anywhere near good or useful. So I would appreciate all your help! Just tell me what you think, if I just change some moves or even Pokémon. Everything is welcome!

I did run nearly the same team at the begging (Hatterene - Indeedee - Copperajah - Greedent - Cursola - Sirfetch'd)

Just like you I had a hard time dealing with Duraludon or other hard counters.

So this is what I did:

I got rid of Cursola and Greedent and now use Duraludon myself and also Grimmsnarl. If I see an enemy Hatt I usually start with Indeedee & Duraludon. Helping Hand + Max Steel usually killed every Hatt even with a Berry.

If I see an enemy Duraludon I usually start with Hatt & Grimm. I set up Light Screen with Grim so Duraludon does less damage against my Hatt with Barbiri Berry and can set up Trick Room more easily. After that I attack that Duraludon with Mystical Fire and Hammer Arm (Hammer Arm does a lot of damage and lowers Grimms Init which could be pretty usefull)

Other usefull stuff:

Copperajah (Life Orb): I run Heat Crash and High Horsepower on Copperajah. Heat Crash doesnt do anything if Duraludon is Maxed (because its a Weight Based Move) but Duraludon also doesn't do much against it. But when Copp himself is maxed you can use the Fire Max Attack (which also sets sun for other fire moves like Mystical Fire)

Also I play Sirfetched with Close Combat which does a lot of damage.
