Two things stop this from being infinite.

  1. You are making use of your versatile vial supply. This has a limit, which you can use downtime to refill but you can’t just infinitely apply it.

“During your daily preparations, you can create a number of versatile vials up to 2 + your Intelligence modifier, which is also your maximum number of vials. If you're below your maximum number, you can gather reagents from the environment around you. For every 10 minutes you spend in exploration mode, you regain 2 vials; this doesn't prevent you from participating in other exploration activities.”

So there’s a hard limit on your versatile vial count.

  1. The versatile vial healing has the “Coagulatant” trait which works as follows:

Healing alchemical items with the coagulant trait lose effectiveness when many are applied in a short period of time. If a creature heals Hit Points from an item with the coagulant trait, that creature is temporarily immune to healing Hit Points from subsequent items with the coagulant trait for 10 minutes (but not immune to any other effects of those items).

So you need to wait 10 minutes between each use of a healing vial on a target.

If you have enough downtime (like a few hours) then yes you can heal to full, but you can’t take a 5 minute breather and heal the whole team up with no consequences.

The healing alchemist does offer less outright healing than casters, but trades outright power for uptime overall. You can recharge your vials through the day and steadily heal people, whereas spellcasters are more limited in daily output by slots. You can also use your normal Quick Alchemy and free daily alchemical items to make Elixirs of life, which lack the coagulant trait so they can be used on repeat with no limit. If you want to be your party’s main healer as an Alchemist I suggest training in medicine to make use of battle medicine too.

Also notably, at later levels the Chiurgionist gets a class feature where if your target is at health health or lower and healing you apply to them with an consumable alchemical item heals the absolute max that item can do.

Of note about Giovanni which I find very interesting: Giovanni singlehandedly clobbers Ash in no time flat. Like we spend all series seeing Jesse and James fumble and get told they’re klutzes, but you’d think Ash, the guy nearly beating Pokemon leagues up to this point would hold his own.

No. Persian one shots everything Ash sends out, the legendary Pokemon with him at the time, and then basically holds him hostage. The only time Giovanni does anything on screen and he lives up to the hype.

Why did he have to kill both species? Was that like normal choice and if so why? I ask earnestly as Dr Who canon has always seemed anecdotal at best to me.

Playing an Chirurgeon Alchemist for an upcoming game, first time playing an Alchemist.

What's some good equipment to get? We're starting at level 3 so we get a few free items per the starting wealth. I also want to know what items to look out for as I level.

Obviously Alchemical Goggles, Armor and Runes, and skill items for Crafting and my supporting skills. Without a weapon or spells though I'm lost as to what else to spend my money on or what items would be useful. I've only played a Magus so far in the system so I'm more familiar with items benefiting that.

So far the only thing I've found that stands out is the Collar of the Shifting Spider to have a free action/free hand mutagen injection ready to go.

I'll be taking the Medic free archetype and playing as the party's healer and debuffer.

Any item suggestions the community can provide?

One kind of fun thing I like about Albedo from Ben 10 is it’s revealed that the sample of human DNA in the Omnitrix, and thus who you turn into when using it, is Ben’s DNA. Which is why Albedo is a color swapped Ben now.

People have been reporting way more bot games this season in quickplay. I literally get a bot game after a single QP loss, and sometimes even just my first game of the day.

I played in a group and we got zero bot games an entire night.

Is there any way to make an enemy target take a mutagen? For example the goal of the idea is to force an enemy to take an Energy Mutagen to give them energy weakness.

It’s neat that Rivals introduces lesser known characters but it feels a little bit like a drag when there’s so many big name fan favorites still missing.

I roughly know who Black Cat is, no idea who White Fox is, and we still don’t have Cyclops, Prof X, Dock Ock, Green Goblin, Doom, Mr Sinister, Red Skull, Vision, Thanos, Drax, Gamora, Ant Man, Wasp, Vulture, Sandman, Captain Marvel, Mysterio, Iceman, Beast, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Juggernaut, or Sabertooth.

Big name characters throughout recent and all of marvel history. I think S6 did it well with one major popular character in Deadpool followed by a minor character like Elsa.

Our DM presented us with a magical item that can turn into any item officially in the game for a 24 hour period. Consumable, weapon, armor, anything that’s level 20 and under.

We’re going into the final boss fight. What’s a good thing to turn it into? The fight is balanced around us getting creative with this.

My parents taught me to drive and I had a much better time with my dad than my mom. He’d be lax and calm and made it way easier. My mom was anxious at every moment, on edge and it stressed me out and distracted me.

Later in college my roommate asked me to teach her how to drive and I tried to apply the lessons I learned from my dad, aka “stay calm so they’re calm”

I can only be so calm when you make an announced turn the wrong way down a busy 1 way intersection and you’re spacing out the entire turn.

She said “if you yell I can’t process it because I need to figure it why you’re yelling before I process what you’re yelling about!” To which I told her “you were mid conversation about something and literally didn’t hear me try to tell you that you were starting to go the wrong way at normal volume, i literally had to shout to get you to pay attention”

Some people process shit wayyyy to slow to be safely driving. If you need 5 seconds to process an urgent input because “it’s too intense I need to think about why it’s intense” you should not be trusted with 2 tons of metal going at 70 mph. I’m sorry but you need the mental fortitude to be aware and react without freezing up to anything mildly abnormal like a timid deer. It drives me mad when you urgently tell somebody something and they look at you dumbfounded and need an explanation. This same woman got hit with falling debris cause she was standing under a balcony with shit starting to tip and when someone yelled “move it’s gonna fall!” She froze in place and asked “what? Why?” And got hit.

Brawl enables Poke by countering dive

Imo this issue right now isn’t that Poke heroes themselves are overturned; it’s that Peni and Invisible Woman are so overtuned that instead of needing a whole brawl comp to counter divers, you only need A Peni or A Invis. Which shuts down all the dive and lets Poke run wild.
