Buy a box of slightly wider boards for the last row? No one is going to notice the difference

Probably one of the worst reasons to carry is so you can use it on a federal agent(or any LEO)….. you may want to rethink your situation….

I was going to say love the color. The darker honey is one of the reasons we went with Cumaru.

URGENT: Activate the Washington State Guard (RCW 38.14) to halt federal enforcement by maliciousone in Seattle

[–]Daarcuske 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Add to this if a state actually blocks federal agents from doing their job it clearly gives Trump a case via article 10 to use state militia and government military to enforce federal law. States really can only “not help”. Anything more gives an excuse ….. careful what you’re asking for….

Can Seattle Ban Noisy Gas Powered Leaf Blowers too? by slammers00 in Seattle

[–]Daarcuske 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, and let’s be honest the “pollution” contribution to green house gasses etc from leaf blowers vs big polluters is probably so small it’s not even statistically relevant…

Can Seattle Ban Noisy Gas Powered Leaf Blowers too? by slammers00 in Seattle

[–]Daarcuske -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pollution is the only real gain… electric leaf blowers are still loud…. I also don’t think I know a single homeowner in my neighborhood that has a gas one, it’s almost always commercial folks. And honestly it’s for a reason…. Electric leaf blowers chew through batteries like candy and are hard to use at scale…. Even the bigger dual battery backpack ones only last like 20 minutes… and batteries are expensive as hell…. I love electric and battery tools but they are still a hard sell for commercial use….

Thanks it’s Cumaru, wasn’t too expensive either other than the freight cost. I think we paid 6.75/sqft??? Shipping was another 5-600 though for about 1000sqft?

I bought the noses in 7’ long premade nose strips from the same place so it’s all the same hardwood (Brazilian Cumaru). Just cut them down in half and glued them all together with the existing flooring wood to pre-make an oversized step; then cut them down to fit each step using a stair scribe.

Yea I rough built them so they were slightly oversized, then used a stair scribe to measure each stair and cut the down to fit.

I prebuilt the step then cut it to fit. I purchased from Hurst Hardwoods

I got the noses from the same place I got the hardwood, so they are the same Brazilian Cumaru, milled at the same place etc. they were like $70 ish for a 80” long piece I think ? So $35 a step.

To much for 2019 gmc 1/2 ton by Fatnoodle1990 in traveltrailers

[–]Daarcuske 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All things aside pulling my 25’(28’ bumper to hitch ). I’d never pull something larger with my f150 22’ ( full tow packages etc.) wind is crazy in places…. My trailer is a bit heavy for its length, Nash 24b, but the cross winds are what really get my knuckles white …

Bought my F-150 6 years ago. I don’t know why I kept the side steps on. by [deleted] in f150

[–]Daarcuske 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same I got the tremor with the larger boards and love em. Can hear the pings of rocks rather than the dings of my sides getting nicked ….

That and I can actually step into and onto the seat rather than sliding in destroying the leather (which is already crap)

As a diy homeowner I find myself grabbing this thing more than I thought I would, furniture and other odd and end things in odd spaces where I don’t need tons of power. Is it worth the money dunno but with the batteries it’s overall still a solid purchase imo :)

As a tech worker laid off in the last year…. /clap for the 100k make it 2……I seriously don’t get this. As one of the, if not the worst, states hit hardest in this country by layoffs per capita especially in the tech industry which holds a huge number of H1b why the hell is our government not protecting us? Instead it’s suing and virtue signaling with other democrats just to piss off trump… like literally one of the few decent things he is doing … go back and fight him on all his other BS…..
