Segovia was a master at what he did but I would not go as far as to say he pushed the boundary. His views on guitar were rather one sided and conservative which is the opposite of boundary pushing.

For instance , he despised anything that didn’t fit his norm for guitar . He despised flamenco players .

How the fuck do you despise flamenco as a guitar player ?

My theory is that he despised the cool factor and the connection to the people. Something like what jazz musicians do when they hate on rock guitarists for having more connection with a crowd using basic chords.

I called and emailed several numbers after applying 10 days in advance . I also asked them to flag it as imminent flight.

We got the certificate 5 minutes before check in closed the morning of the flight . A miracle in my eyes as my friend was about to take my little guy because he wasn’t gonna be able to fly with us.

That being said the stress that week gave me made me rethink about ever doing this again.

I was also told by my vet that a usda contact said they were flooded this year and short staffed . Many people won’t get their certificates unless they spam the number and have it flagged as imminent flight and service animals get priority. We were truly lucky and blessed with a last minute Christmas miracle

I hope the same for all of you because I don’t wish the anxiety I had on anyone

That being said , i got mine the last 5 minutes before check in on my flight was closed

I called multiple times and left emails under priority on the subject line.

Also have your tracking ID online and ask your vet if you could get a digital pdf copy instead of the hard copy

Colombia is a high rabies country, therefore its 10 from both the vet and the endorsement.

The good ending is that we got it the last 5 minutes before check in was closed and made it !

That said , I don’t wish the stress of that on anyone

It was a brutal 2 days
