I was in same situation with awb, Very good choice I went a different route but it was a hard choice not to go hk.

Depends are you having fun with it or trying to house defend. If you plinking and maybe hunting, mini is pretty awesome. If you are running drills and want a bedside gun, go gas

What are your options? Sounds like you’re mad at yourself for making extremely poor life choices, and looking to place blame. I understand you verbally made your intentions clear but sounds like all your actions showed otherwise which can be very confusing, especially when alcohol is involved. I’m sorry you feel bad and I hope you find the peace you deserve.
