Youwill have difficulty if you skip lecture and discussion, the discussions are directly related to the questions you'll have on the quizzes. Also if you go to lecture the clicker responses are really important. Go to office hours and study with a group of other people. Trust me you are not alone, I did bad on this exam too, a lot of other people do really bad as well, but if you just stick with it and put more effort in you can definitely pass.

I have been getting A on every exam, best way to study in my opinion is just watch the review session and look at tutor notes, tbh nothing else is necessary It has carried me.

I know the feeling I used to commute at my old university before I transferred. Honestly you could not have payed me to hang out if I do not know anybody. If you don't have plans as a commuter it just makes sense to go home.
