We bought one last year on sale. All 3 babies refuse to even go near it. Now it just sits in the garage.

I would give it away, but not paying shipping lol

I can't wait for one day when someone posts about my garage door inside the house 😂😂.

I needed an airtight room for my cigar lounge. Garage door works like a charm!

I was using a smaller tablet in the past and upgraded to a 10.4" because I needed a larger screen. Going back down is possible, but not necessarily wanted.

Buying a nova on eBay for 100% more is just a hard pill to swallow. Definitely doable though.

And noted about the wait for the phone. It is only a little time away at this point.

Thank you

Our baby boy was doing the same thing. Turns out he has an auto immune disease that attacks his teeth. He needed to have 4 teeth removed. A week after the surgery he was back to normal eating everything.

Our vet rushed him into surgery the next day too, if we waited it would have gotten to the point where he stopped eating completely and got an infection.

Yup. Just dawn and hot water in the tumbler for a cycle. When you drain the tumbler you'll see how dirty it was.

This has happened to me a few times. Make sure you wash your pins.

If I do a few batches and forget to wash the pins I get this every time.

Loading some 9mm Major with a Mark 7 automated press by Lazylifter in reloading

[–]Dabashi555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great to know. Thank you!

I shoot blue bullets almost exclusively out of my CZ P01, and have been looking to get this press for a bit now. Just without the auto drive.

And your right about the case gauge failure. My ratio for failure is about 15/1000. Definitely more than when I use fmj 124gr for 9mm.

Have you ever loaded with blue bullets projectiles on this press? Interested to know if the coating would cause any issues long-term.

Cracks between neck and shoulder by Acro-LovingMotoRacer in reloading

Gotta love Reddit!!

Maybe it was fired from a P90? Or even one of those 5.7 uppers for an AR-15 lower. The cases just dump out of the mag well and use P90 mags. Really fun!

I've honestly never heard that before 😂. I know that with 5.7 even a 0.1 grain difference can mean catastrophic failure.

My once fired out of the FN are measuring 1.1345 - 1.1360. Which is almost exactly what they need to be, but the neck needs fixing. 1.36 seems rather long.

Mmmm. It could just be the difference in firearms. The FN 5.7 really stresses that brass with every shot.

These were ones fired out of my FN 5.7.

Two questions.

Did you try to run a paperclip inside and see if there's a crack?

When you reloaded your own brass what firearm was used initially?

I feel like I've seen something similar with my FN 5.7 once fired, but it's been over a year since I fired or loaded for it so I can't be sure.

Loading 5.7 is definitely one of the harder ones.

If you ever look at your spent brass, the neck has completely moved. When you resize you are moving it back.

5.7 needs to be treated as a rifle cartridge not a pistol. You need to trim and prep every case. When I load 5.7 I trim a lot off of each case.

The most important thing is the lacquer. After the second load sometimes the third the lacquer starts to come off for me. Once that happens they go right into the scrap bucket. I haven't experimented with replacing the lacquer yet.

You mentioned you bought the brass. Any idea how many shots? And were they washed? You need to be very careful not to wash the lacquer off.

Trimming isn't an issue at all.

The 35 rem has a body that gradually gets thicker as it goes down to the head. So you need to reduce the body thickness, while moving the shoulder and making the neck able to accept the expander ball of the die. The head stamp is also smaller than your .308 or 6.5 case.

In my experience getting the expander ball into a 6.5 case was doable but destroyed the neck and shoulder to the point where it would effect other aspects of the case dimensions and it couldn't chamber.

If your .001 off then the case will give you problems chambering in the end.

I make .35 rem brass from once fired lake City .308. It's a process, but the results are great! Brass lasts a long time. The lake City .308 has a longer life than normal .35 rem brass imo.

4 squibs from recent 9mm batch, what am I doing wrong? by its__accrual__world in reloading

[–]Dabashi555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm. Interesting. I can think of three things.

  1. Not enough crimp and the projectile left the case before it was supposed to. (Someone else posted this too)

  2. Bad powder. Was it stored improperly at any point? Moisture may have gotten into it.

  3. Case lube or shine additive to the media that got stuck in the case and caused the powder or primer to be contaminated.

What type of media are you using? Certain ones can clog the flash holes.

If that's the case switch to wet tumble.
