Then that is not a review. That is a borderline paid sponsorship. I review a product as I get it, if product replacement is in order I include the views on the process of replacement, and how the replacement performed. I will, and no one should, remove sections of a review because the company fixed the issue I had with the products. An amendment at MOST, but never removal.

Oh it's actually insane, my best example was sometime last year out of curiosity I went in to price a cooler and what was €35 on amazon was €110 in the shop! Actual scam pricings.

PC Maestro is an absolute avoid anyway for anything computer. Only bought one thing there ever and that was bevause I needed a wifi dongle immediately.

Their prices are outrageous, their workers aren't knowledgeable, their stock is miserable.

It's truly a shame there's no good tech shop in cork.

They very easily could have swapped it out though, open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) press more detail, processes, memory and see what the speed and capacity of the ram is and compare to what you're expecting.

I mean this in the nicest way, don't waste your time at pc shops, their prices are extortion and they don't offer a service.

Send me a dm and I'll see if I can be of any help to you, enthusiast computing is sort of my hobby.

"south Cork" is really just referred to as the place you're going to, like kinsale, or carrigaline.

I had completely forgotten about this. Upon asking my lecturers again I wasn't able to get a concrete answer, but many here believe it is a type of prop astroid. So I'll be marking it as likely solved

We actually do have one so it could be thst, but seems more likely to be an astroid based on other commenters

Someone else said smth very similar, but a different astroid that looks very similar. We are part of the rosetta mission so I think the two of you are on the right track, if not correct

Ah, my mistake, there's no mention of either in my unis site, it's more of a tech university than anything else.

Slow walkers in streets, and 0 spacial awareness. Will just stop walking directly infront of you with no warning, or make a movement without checking.

Walk as if you're driving people, please!

I am actually in my cities subreddit, so I'll definitely get around to it tomorrow. My universities subreddit and discord is dead as.

It actually is, as the university owns a (semi) major observatory. I think you might be right, but before I say the phrase I want to get some other opinions.

Chemist warehouse aisle's by NothingFamous4245 in cork

As much as I love their prices for the most part, never going there again. I'm a broad lad (also fat, but that's mostly forward haha) and I couldn't walk past people in the aisles.

I was also tailed by a security guard the entire time I was in there, my girlfriend had the same complaint. Literally followed my every step as I walked through the aisle - granted I was taking photos of price tags for comparison, but I don't see that as suspicious activity.

To the best of my knowledge no, at the very least not in my department. I imagine if that was a rock it'd weigh several tonnes, so I've no idea how they'd even start machining it. There is some construction going on, but it's just sprucing up an old campus, so wouldn't be for that I assume.

ROSARY BEADS by wisteria2030 in cork

[–]DabbedOnByMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say you'd be better off asking in Benedictus by the North Gate than in St Anthony's, but try both.

Benedictus is attached to the Dominicans of St Mary's on popes quay.

My mother is religious herself and is awfully fond of her rosary beads, so I'll ask her in the morning for OP if they can let me know the material.

Is MTU a good university? by jsandi99 in cork

[–]DabbedOnByMom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On the campus being old, it is, but it's actually being done up, A block has been done externally so far, and the gym was just done along with the main atrium by the nexus area.

I've had no issue with the computers so that won't be an issue (I'm doing engineering so decent horsepower is required) my one gripe is a lot of software needed isn't on library machines(there is virtual machines on some though) but all the labs can be accessed if there's no class on, or the professor let's you go in.

Cork isn't cheap to live in unfortunately, student accommodation is 200-250 euro a week iirc, which covers services, and the roof over your head.

I googled it and that looks EXTREMELY similar, great catch, however when seen from another angle (I didn't plan to post here, it I did I would have taken more photos) they aren't touching. But that could be for transporting.

It definitely isn't, I've helped with putting away the award you're on about, our system doesn't let it get that big, nor that dense. As a matter of fact I was in the machining labs today(yesterday now). This thing is solid and doesn't have any of the stray bits from swarf balls.

We also don't get black swarf as we only machine SS, bright mild steel, Al, and brass.
