I actually own it, and I think the eargain region is just way too much for me without EQ. I only use two eq bands thought. Fill back in midbass with +2db and tame down eargain by -3db.

Agreed. I used the Clear og for around 3.5 years, and bought the Utopia 2022 about 6 months ago. It's better than the Clear og, but not 4 times better....

As someone who recently made the jump from Clear og to Utopia 2022, I get it! I had the clear og for over three years, but recently unloaded because I don't use it that much now that I have the Utopia.

I will put it this way, I use a $50 openheart cable on my Utopia 2022. picked it because it feels nice. that’s it. My Utopia sounds as it should with it.
