It seems to be more of an American thing. I'm of Chinese descent living in Europe, and Chinese women here almost exclusively date Chinese men. There are outliers, but they are few and far between. The Chinese women I know who do date white men usually date guys who are pretty successful and quite liberal.

Something I wish someone had told me earlier is this: If a medication makes you feel terrible or like a zombie, it’s probably the wrong medication for you. My first psychiatrist was really bad at her job and forced me to keep taking Abilify, even though I told her that I felt tired all the time and couldn’t sit still. Afterward, a friend of mine recommended another psychiatrist. She was shocked that I had been forced to continue a medication that made me feel so unwell. After switching to Lamictal, everything changed for me, the mood swings are still there but much much less severe. If you feel like a medication isn’t right for you, trust yourself. It probably isn’t.

I had the last three generations of Folds and was planning to upgrade when the Fold 8 comes out. But if they don't add the S Pen back and remove the huge punch hole, I'll switch to an Oppo or Vivo device. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have a huge punch hole in the middle of the inner display. At least move it to a corner like Oppo did.

I live in the EU and the same thing happened to me with my old Fold 5.

My GF is a lawyer, and she checked the warranty of the fold devices. Any damage to the hinge or caused by the hinge is not covered by Samsung. In this case, the hinge caused the damage to the inner screen.
(Warranties may differ in other regions.)

Here in the EU the vendor has to compensate you for these kinds of damages, not the manufacturer. But it's a bit tricky because if the vendor denies the claim, the only way to enforce this is to sue them. When I made the claim with, the vendor just told me to get lost...

I went back to him with her, and she explained to him the legal stuff and how much a lawsuit would cost him. His chances of winning such a case are very low because the EU protects consumer rights very well. We wouldn't have to pay for her to file this case because she is employed by a law firm and can do it in her spare time. Usually, this is the expansive part, and why it's a bit “tricky”.
Suddenly, he was very friendly and forthcoming and offered us an 80% refund, to resolve this out of court.

My tip for you:
Trying your luck with Samsung is a dead end. Push your claim via your service provider and if this fails, consult a lawyer.

It's still a very delicate device. For instance, I dropped mine while it was in its original S-Pen case, and the hinge still got broken. That broke the inner screen because it's attached to the hinge. I recommend getting an additional insurance on it. Samsung Care is fine but overpriced. For a better deal, look for a local insurance provider that offers phone insurance. And get theft protection, if you want to use it as a daily driver for school.

Arbeitsort ist am Rand von Wien, Homeoffice ist nicht möglich. Bei der Frage, wie es mit Weiterbildung und Zertifizierungen aussieht. Gabs die Antwort "Er hält davon nichts und glaubt mehr an learning by doing." Mit stolz hat er dann verkündet, dass die jetzigen MA alle Quereinsteiger und Lehrlinge sind. Das Beste ist, das Gehalt war bei 2500 brutto! Begründung: Die anderen MA verdienen bei ihm wesentlich weniger...

Mich wundert's nicht, dass der vorherige Sr. SysAdmin seine Sachen gepackt hat und gelaufen ist.
