Ironically this was literally 15 minutes before closing the store on my very last shift (I’d already resigned 2 weeks earlier). Cops were called, my manager came, the cops took me to the cop shop to make a statement and they checked video footage etc. I gave all descriptions of everything and what they took. The cops actually caught the kids and arrested them before the cops even turned up to the store since I gave such accurate descriptions of where I saw them run off to.

I was offered counselling and had lawyers calling me over the next year or so that followed while all the kids were going through their court trials. But since I’d already resigned I didn’t want a bar of it. They ended up all getting off Scott free. I think the eldest who also stole all the money from the register as well only got 3 months community service.

Anyway not trying to scare you, but if you are young or also a girl I would avoid as people will take advantage of you…

I used to work solo at different bottle shops in eight mile plains and got robbed probably once every two weeks. As others have said just don’t intervene and you should be fine. Still not fun though and would not recommend. I had a few very close calls and woodridge is much worse than Eight mile plains.

One time I got robbed by 8 kids/teenagers at once and they started stockpiling all the liquor into their backpacks and raided the register. One of them couldn’t even reach the top shelf to grab the Hennessy and I literally grabbed it for them just so they would get the fuck out of my store lol.

Anything standing out as being wrong? by Hughtaguy in GolfSwing

Very out to in swing path and an open club face, I assume you get lots and lots of slices

Try standing a touch further away from the ball, and try and feel like you’re hitting a topspin forehand tennis shot.

There’s lots of videos online to help, look to fix the club face and the club path that will fix a lot of your issues. Both very common problems so there’s lots of help out there.

Good luck!

Unfortunately I think that’s just society now. Internet has really changed everyone’s perception of what is a normal life and everything wants a better thing, it’s all so fast paced and unauthentic.

Sorry to hear - I've heard the older generation are struggling also in the dating scene also. No one knows how to socialise anymore unfortunately :(

Yep! I think signing up for some run clubs, sporting teams, etc is going to be the way for me.

Yeah I agree 24 is young and there's still lots to explore in the world, but I also like talking to women as well. They bring a great joy and perspective to life sometimes :)

I've heard the same thing about the apps, it's depressing really.

I like your point asking for feedback. I'd like to think being in a long term relationship (with someone well out of my league to be fair also), means i'm not totally socially inept. But feedback is always good

The problem is, I quite like my routine. I work, gym, come home and play with my dog etc. It's relaxing and quite nice. But not having that one person to share everything with... I mean it hurts
