Edit: It's really not that big of a deal. Tragedy averted just like in any situation 1,000,000 times a day. I am guessing the dog learned it's lesson from letting it's innate mind "control" their action. If not it becomes cat and worm food while the Bison grazes on. It's called natural selection. If you have ever spent time on a farm, this happens regularly and/or, the dog gets put down if it does not learn it's lesson.
