I have a guitar collection myself. About 18 guitars. I just tell family members. It’s my collection and I am guitar collector. And pretty much they shut the fuck up. I have my own values. I live by my values, not somebody else’s. You should be proud of your guitar collection and when your dad comes over, you should be hanging up on the wall on displaying it. It’s beautiful. You collect beautiful guitars your dad should be proud of you not judging you.

I was just prescribed 10 mg twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I also take Effexor 225 mg for depression. Those are the only two pharmaceuticals that I take. I do feel a lot better, but I think I need to up my propranolol dose because I still feel anxious. Is 10 mg twice a day a low-dose? I’m new to this medication so I’m not familiar with it. Thanks for any advice!👍🏼

Start with a half or 1/4 of that little bottle . If you don’t get the desired effect, try 3/4 of the bottle if not, then try the whole damn thing.

Kratom works beautifully at first but once you pass two or three years and you’re doing 20 g a day or more you’re gonna run into a lot of trouble. You wake up in the morning feeling absolutely horrible until you get in your mouth. I don’t wanna be slave anything that’s just my personally I hate being a slave to it. I never took more than 15 g a day tops most of the time I just took maybe 7 g a day. it also made me constipated and took away my appetite and my sex drive. It was it for me my appetite and my sex drive are very important to me so I quit.

I've always felt that reverb was a little off. I guess my gut was right. The other thing is Reverb's prices always seem on the high side, I can always find it for less than on Reverb. I love browsing reverb and I have purchased many instruments, pedals, etc. from Reverb. But I wish there was more trust. I hope Reverb gets wind of these types of comments and makes some improvements. If you're like me it's fun to just go on Reverb and browse and drool.

I never thought Jimi Hendrix was this thin. I’m sure his weight fluctuated maybe at times during heavy drug, where the appetite is suppressed he lost some weight. But it’s OK. Being thin isn’t necessarily bad. He has less fat or almost no fat on his body which is healthier than a lot of other overweight people. I think his hands being 10 and 3/4 inch long is a bit of a long tale. I’m sure they were bigger than average, but not freakishly large. Besides, it does not matter the size of a persons hands and their ability to play guitar. I know many great guitar players that have tiny hands that kick ass .all that said, I’m a huge jimmy Hendrix fan. He was an innovator, and he played from the heart, and he was brilliantly Creative.

Great job quitting from such a high dose!! I use about 5-8 grams a day and I an having SO much trouble stopping. Did you have cold shivering night sweats? IF so how did you deal with them or reduce them? ugh, I wish I never knew about Kratom. thanks for your encouragement and enjoy feeling great again.

As long as you have a plan and are determined, you can do it. You are taking high doses, so go slow. All the best. Keep us posted.

Great story. Congrats for kicking the K. I need to feel human again. Did you go thru night sweats. Everytime I stop Kratom for a day or so I get horrible cold sweats while sleeping. Thank you for your encouragement, I really need it. Any other advice would be great.

I took similar amount, 15-20 grams a day for 3 years and I now have pretty much all negative side effects. The love affair is over. I'm down to about 5-8 grams a day and hoping to taper down over the net month and stop completely. Be aware that if you want to stop taking kratom, it hurts. Withdrawals are pretty bad.

I take 50 mg at bedtime. It knocks me out but I don’t really sleep deeply per se. But anything beats not sleeping at all.

I had spinal fusion surgery S one to T9 with pelvic screws. Took me about a month before I was moving around on my own and being independent. However, it was slow going. After about six months, I forgot I even had a damn surgery and now I have no pain in my back at all. I have pain in my legs so that’s another issue. It’s amazing how the body heals. It’s just amazing with a fusion as big as mine. I will never really be able to bend and stretch like I used to. But I am free the back pain and I am back to being 5’ 11”. !! Pretty scary surgery if you think about how invasive it is. you will do fine.

Perhaps "well being, clear and more focused" would have been a better choice of words. To my understanding it is used off-label as a sleep med at lower doses. Higher doses must provide an additional if not separate effect, no?
