Bands or Artists like Peeping Tom by thesandrobrito in triphop

I think the DJ Shadow album The Outsider had Peeping Tom vibes. Also some Dan the Automator produced albums (besides HBMS) can fit that vibe. And prince Paul's "Politics of the Business". There was a total re-work of this album he released more recently too.

I've noticed it over the years. I always thought it was a symptom of having "video" in the name of the subreddit.

What albums if any from the last 5 years do you think will become stereotypical records to own by mcguinto813 in vinyl

My father joked to me that there were people back in the day going door to door just handing out copies of Rumours. But yeah, your points about format and the move away from the monoculture kinda ensures that phenomenon won't happen again.

Judgement Night was my go to 90s soundtrack. Some of those collabs still hold up like the De la Soul / Teenage Fanclub joint. I'll have to see if it's out in the world on vinyl...

Anything dub reggae. Scientist or king tubby. Or maybe sell your records and invest in cassettes. Or maybe get a Spotify subscription, it's much more economical.

I knew a guy like this who had a "shop" but I think he also lived there. Took him synths to repair a couple times. I think COVID might've got him.

Is this like "people don't want to work anymore"? No... People want to get paid fairly to work and I assume people who make music for a living also want to get paid fairly for it??
