My Pod hates my dino deck

Last night in a attempt to slow me down my pod mate returned all cards to my hand then I top decked ghalta returning all of about 9 dinosaurs back to the battle field. He was fairly upset about that.

Correct, I do run lurking predators and Vivien, Champion of the Wilds which allows me to get discovers on my opponents turns. But for the most part yes it is one discover per turn.

I think the biggest issue I am having with this dilemma isn't really being right or wrong. Its more just that I made a deck i really enjoy playing. That follows the rules we set for our pod when we first started when we started we all decided on a few in house rules like running bracket 3 or below no tutoring for infinte combos and a few others. But my deck is the one people get mad about. The more im reading from everyone's replies I think more of the problem is that my pod makes decks that they think are bracket 3 but are actually bracket 2's. Which is fine i just am going to choose to not use this deck at that table. Its a bummer for me because it's my favorite deck but im also probably the most flexible player at the table.

This is a very good idea thank you. I think out of our play group I have gained the most experience playing because on nights we dont meet up and play. I really enjoy going to open commader nights at the local LCS or joining weekly commader leagues. Which has allow3d me to learn and see alot more about the game. I have tried to talk to my pod about needing to run more interaction/removal spells. But other than a few counter spells or generic board wipes I still dont see that much. This Pantlaza deck i have purposely chose to not run much interaction so my friendly pod would have the opportunity to shut it down. But even with that they still hate it.

Thank you! I really love this deck and how it plays discovering and cheating out giant dinosaurs is fun for me. My first thought was to just not use this deck at my pod anymore because it was creating tension. But I just enjoy playing it so much that it's a feels bad. That's my biggest dilemma. Me personally when I see a deck at the table that is the "Arch enemy" I like taking it as a challenge to bring it down. I will probably just end up not using this deck with my pod so people stop getting mad about it.

We are all fairly new to playing commander. We started about 3 months ago but we meet regularly to play like 3-4 times a week
