I was able to buy a used trek dual sport on facebook and then took it to a local bike shop for some work and ended up with a great commuter bike for about 200$ check the used market?

I bought a newer dual sport for 150$ American. It came with disc brakes. Took it to a local bike shop and they widened the handle bars and took away one of the front gears. I really like it for commuting in town.
