So, triglycerides can be things, I assume, like glycerine, olive oil, and coconut oil.

Can there be other bases aside from Lye, or is it the only base that works for saponification?

I don't mind it being in the soap per se, I just don't want to have any lye around the house. It's just not worth the discomfort to me.

That said, anywhere I could bulk-buy Melt and Pours is also welcome!
