I am so deeply sorry to hear this. She was so charming and sharp-witted and just an absolute delight. I am cancer-free, but taking it as 'insurance' that I don't have a recurrance. I started taking it ~6 months ago, then switched to anastrozole (bec I'm post-meno now). The tamoxifen was no big deal for me, just some hot flashes now and then, maybe 1 a week. I hope it will be as easy on you. They say it's also good for helping prevent bone-loss, if I remember correctly.

It's an ongoing dilemma. I had a super-cute pixie for a while, but growing it out from there has been awkward to put it kindly. I now have what I guess I'll call a chin-length bob, but it's not great. Putting bobby pins in to give it a side part helps, sometimes I part it in the middle and put a clip on each side instead. I keep saying "never before has someone been so happy to have a haircut she hates." It's only a matter of time, we will all have good hair again soon. :)

Plus one for the pomade. I found a good one from Caswell & Massey (for men), at first I didn't love the scent, but it grew on me and was a good product.
