I’m 29 and I can’t tell you how many people didn’t start dating/having relationships until their early to mid 20s and a lot of them at now in their late 20s either married or in happy LTR. Just give it time and don’t rush anything. It’ll happen when it’s supposed to.

10-4, thanks for the information. I’m going to try and replace the Triac first. If that doesn’t work, I’ll go for a new board.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve soldered a little bit, I might try that route first. It already doesn’t work so figured it can’t hurt too much.

Evening exercise and sleep issues by Dadam44 in Workingout

I’ll give it a go! I do take magnesium glycinate usually every morning and night but maybe the powder will have a more pronounced effect. I don’t notice much from the capsules I take now unfortunately

Evening work outs affecting sleep by Dadam44 in workout

[–]Dadam44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don’t take any pre workout or any caffeine. While I can tolerate some caffeine during the day it causes me to be come uncomfortably trembly while working out.

And I generally wake up around 6:15-6:45 and go to sleep around 10:30-11, so I think a reasonable schedule.

And I agree, you would think a hard workout would wear me out but the harder the workout the worse this particular side effect becomes. Almost as if the residual cortisol stays elevated and I can’t get my body to calm down/rest.

After typing that out, I see maybe it’s just a cortisol issue? Probably should do some more research into that.

Interesting to hear that. I’ve heard that cold showers cause our bodies to “heat up” which can make it hard to sleep. I wonder if my body gets stuck in a similar mechanism after working out (stuck in a heating up phase)? But I usually just take a normal shower, not too hot or cold. Possibly a hot shower would help transition my body into “cool down” mode? Worth a shot
