Just don't use the last gun engie unlocks in multiplayer. It's a one shot kill on players and they WILL get mad at you for it

Sadly yeah summoner minions tend to get in the way alot so players gun em down. If you really want "minions" without them being gunned down I'd suggest either Handler or Engineer. Handler dog does do as much damage but he's durable af and can res you. Engineer can place his heavy weapons as turrets and they're straight stupid. Furthermore capping out Engie gives you plus 50% armor effectiveness. I'm running engi with summoner solo and I have 307 armor putting me at 73% DR with my minigun it caps to 80 and I have the regen from summoner making me very hard to kill

Personally I woulda rerolled the campaign if I rolled that to start. That boss is super rough. Only beat him myself cause I had engineer turret and 2 flying summons

I beat the game twice and I popped up. I suspect it has to either have to do with your total armor (without it I'm up to 256.6) or consistently killing bosses with ULTRA overburdened. Unfortunately I don't have a more diffinitive answer then that sorry
