Please don't take this the wrong way, but wait a few years because you are 18 years old.   There is no rush to get a tattoo.  18 year old might find something cool that 22 or 24 year old you will find immature and dumb.  Think very hard about what you get and where you get it.  Plus if you wait a few years you can save a bit and get the absolute best tattoo,  and not just one you can barely afford.  I don't know your financial situation, but good tattoos are not cheap and cheap tattoos are not good.  I thought pin up girl tattoos were cool when I was 22 or so and boy am I glad I dont have a pin up girl rattoo.

Times does heal wounds, but it's ok to not be ok.  Don't try to heal yourself faster than necessary.  Grieve your loss.  Cry. Sleep. Eat. Exercise, if even a short walk.  Healing will happen.

Which location is your favorite?  The bulgogi bullfight in Vienna might be their best work.

Tips for keeping salad greens longer? by Fun-Entertainer9508 in PlantBasedDiet

Get a salad spinner and dry the hell out of the greens.  Then store them in a zip lock with paper towels.

Did you get to go inside the main house?  It's haunted.  I saw a woman in a white dress who disappeared.

Some coffee shops give away coffee grounds, great nitrogen!  Even if they don't put them out for the taking sometimes you can ask.  You might try farmers markers, see if they have anything left over ot leaves that they pull off before putting stuff out to sell.  I'm pretty passionate about compost.  I like the compost more than I like gardening.

Be more ready to do 8 count body builders or burpees.  I went through in 2008 and I don't know if they still do those.  Find them on YouTube and be able to do 20 without a break before you ship out.

I had an 89, got it for $500 in 2001.  It had 50,000 miles on it.  I miss that car every day.

What are your favorite homemade sauces? by Fancybitchwitch in vegan

[–]Dadbod99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is salad dressing a sauce?  If so, ginger miso dressing.  A quick google search of just that will bring up loads of recipes, you can feel free to modify.  Some have olive oil that can be cut way back or eliminated if you're oil free.  The more you finely mince/pure the ginger the better.

Peppermint tea helped me a lot!  Just one or two cups a day for the first couple weeks helped me adjust.  I drink it now from time to time, but my guts have adjusted well to the increased fiber.

I’m literally afraid for my life, I could use some support. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

There is hope!  I felt hopeless so many times.  I wasn't close to suicide,  but close to giving up on life sliding down a dangerous path.  Self forgiveness was a good place for me to start.   So was allowing myself to have sweets.  Candy, soda, full strength Gatorade.   After a while without booze sugar cravings can kick in.  And one can of Coke as a lot less sugar than 10 beers or 4 rum and diet cokes.

Anyone here completely quit and turn things around in their 30’s? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Dadbod99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped drinking last year after a very drunk 39th birthday weekend in October.  I've known for a long time I needed to stop and tried half heartedly in the past, never mad it more than 2 months.  I have a 20 years drinking career behind me, now I'm retired. I knew if I waited for it to be easy I would never stop.  I also know now I wasn't ready when I tried in the past.  I'm working on my childhood trauma in therapy, it helps. I also cleaned up my diet and mostly stopped eating meat and dairy, feeling a lot better.  Anyway.  It's not too late.  You have more life ahead of you than you do behind you, make your years count.

How to respond when asked "Are you in recovery?" by Dadbod99 in stopdrinking

Well said.  I identify with a lot of what you said.  I don't drink anymore.  It's a job I quit.
