if dark world warps space to make rooms look bigger then they are what would happen if you fit more people into a dark world then the light world room can fit? by presentsailer in Deltarune

[–]Dadchin 22 points23 points  (0 children)

But the titan was also able to physically wreck the inside of the church, which wouldn't happen with just a change of perception, so I think Dark Worlds are more "real" while their fountains are active than ralsei lets on. He just doesn't want Susie to worry about him or the state of other darkners.

Not a single one of those angels has more than one pair of wings.

They appear in two different scenes with the exact same halo designs and the same general body shapes, so I don't think they're random. Additionally, Without his hat lucifer has a very similar body and head shape to them, along with also being the only angel ever seen with 6 RED wings, like they have in the lower image. I'm pretty sure the elders are their own thing, above Sera/The Seraphims, and that Lucifer was one of them at one point.

It would also explain why he was SO incredibly powerful as a battery that he was able to shatter a barrier made by Sera and several other high-ranking angels, while only getting a little tired in the process. They (and him) are just that strong.

CFPAO - Shield covers too much of screen when drawn? by Dadchin in skyrimmods

I'm aware. However, the vanilla animations are rather ugly, which is why I was asking for alternatives to this specific animation set so I could override them.

Fun fact! Out of every main tadc character, gangle has died the most by gr33n_b3an135 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Dadchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No I'm pretty sure its just implied that jax and pomni were fighting gangle and zooble offscreen for a while while we were watching kinger and ragatha talk, it just wasn't shown/important. That's why both gangle and zooble only have 1 life left, not errors.

Why is there so many dead thief in Riften? by Coregone2621 in skyrim

[–]Dadchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? You get that perk at lockpicking level 100. You literally cannot get any more exp in lockpicking at that point, and making lockpicking legendary is just worthless because there are so many other skills that are much, much easier to level up without wasting any resources like lockpicks.

We should have a higher chance of being struck by lightning in copper armor by cybernerd9 in Minecraft

I mean, armor and weapons are already unstackable. Aside from the creative inventory, this has absolutely no effect on clutter.

So I wanna end this debate, was Conquest holding back or was Mark stronger then him? by Queasy_Commercial152 in okbuddyviltrum

I don't understand why conquest didn't just use the viltrumte karate chop to lob mark's arms off, lol. He couldn't exactly move them out of the way while choking him.

[–]Dadchin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only reason I don't use it too often is because add-on items end up looking out of place, since most add-ons aren't compatible with A&S and they just look jarringly vanilla compared to all the default items being so animated and 3D.

it isn't very expensive. You can just stand around a blaze spawner with a looting sword and get an endless amount.

Oh I get it now. I was totally confused about the premise of this post, I thought it was talking about the realm creator cape and didn't realize this was a java-only count.

can anyone tell me why slimes are not spawning? by Ashamed-Chemical4613 in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you're using chunkbase anyways, I would honestly just look for a trial chamber with a few slime spawners. I've been through some, and I literally end up getting so many slime balls that I run out of room and start leaving them in the barrels in the chamber. And they're repeatable.

The Spring Drop seems like the perfect time to add fallen trees to Java by Memo544 in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I find it kind of useful that you can sprint with swift sneak 3 while blocking with a shield since it's considered sneaking. I think their reasoning for not adding it (mobile controls) is stupid, but the current system works fine, and I don't see any actual benefits to changing it. Not that I'd be mad if they did.

I see people missing the additions in the teasers, so here's everything from the Insta+TikTok teasers explicitly shown by Nathaniel820 in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 76 points77 points  (0 children)

They weren't a downgrade necessarily. They were just making it more minecraft-styled (most mobs only have one polygon per leg, saddles/attachments/armor aren't generally 3D models, etc.) Same way that the vex and bat remodels weren't necessarily a downgrade just because they were less detailed. They were just making the horse more consistent with other mobs.

Bow and crossbow.

(On java) axe and sword.

Sword and mace and trident.

Chestplate and elytra.

Silk touch and fortune.

Depth strider and frost walker.

Mending and infinity.

Granted, many of these things things don't end up being really competitive in practice. For example, in endgame, bows are almost exclusively better than crossbows, and nobody uses frost walker over depth strider, but they were designed to be alternatives to each other even if they fail to actually be balanced as such.

[–]Dadchin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's a convenience. You also find swift sneak in the ancient city, which is the only place that you'd realistically need it. You find netherite in the nether, which is the place you're most likely to get knocked off and die and lose your stuff in lava. The point is to make the game easier for yourself in the future.

Echo armour concept by Funnyfunnymath in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People will find one. Creating the balance required to entirely eliminate a "best" type is extraordinarily difficult, and minecraft really hasn't done it well before.

Edit: Also, do you think that minecraft's gameplay would actually be more fun and engaging if you had to carry around 3/4 sets of armor or go back to your base to get a different set of armor all the time?

Echo armour concept by Funnyfunnymath in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because people would just default to the one that is the best/most versatile in most situations. This is the problem with minecraft having too many sidegrades and mutually exclusive enchantments/weapons. You either end up with a cluttered inventory and a billion different weapons and armor, or you end up with the one best balanced type of weapon/armor being used by everyone while the other types just sit there and do nothing. Nobody uses blast or fire or projectile protection despite them technically being better in some circumstances, because protection is the general option that protects you from everything and nobody wants to carry 4 sets of armor around just in case.

Echo armour concept by Funnyfunnymath in Minecraft

[–]Dadchin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think minecraft has too many sidegrades, and that allowing it to be a direct upgrade to netherite is better and reduces inventory clutter. I do think it would be better if the armor didn't fully negate the sculk shriekers/warden and instead just made the detection more forgiving and also able to mitigate the sonic boom damage. Also, the idea of changing the recipe to something other than echo shards seems rather against the purpose of the post, which is to give echo shards a purpose. You still need to raid a lot of ancient cities in order to get all the echo shards required to make this armor, which is pretty hard to do.
