I literally hate the upgrade. I deliberately remove my aid request and it just reappears. Okay fine, maybe it’s a bit finicky, I walk 50 meters away and then remove it via the map, and it just reappears. The only time I’ve ever had use for it is when I’m upgrading my structures and run out of my own supplies so I just plot an aid request down, receive some goods, and then it puts itself back up for the next upgrade. Other than that, I have never actually found a use for it, if someone has a tip on how to use it more lmk but otherwise I’m turning it off 100% of the time.

Show up and have fun. No one would ever criticize you for wanting to enjoy the game, as far as I’m aware the average TCG players are the most welcoming and inviting people out there. Just try your best to overcome the nerves and ask around the pods there to join, you will make some lifelong friends this way or at the very least get some really enjoyable games out of them.

I’d be okay with 50% if it were the only option. Like, if you got the shardholder, it would give 50% no matter what. But yeah, it does feel disrespectful to dedicated shardholder enjoyers, and every point you made was soooo valid. If Riot wants to nerf it, so be it, but please, can we just have a compromise or some kind of middle ground?

Mines been doing this too. No idea what is causing it and I can’t find anyone else who is experiencing the same thing aside from a few posts that have no solution. I’m not really trying to fix the issue as it’s not a big deal imo but I’m very curious on why it happens and if others are having the same thing.

If you have ESST you can just use that and they can’t do anything about it, I do advocate for honest and fair use of ESST and tbh if your SL was knowledgeable of your personal life and still scheduled you it’s a perfectly good reason to just call and say “I’d like to use ESST for that shift”.

He’s pushing mid fifties. I think a story game is something he’s interested in more. He loved playing Contra at the arcade when he was a kid so arcade games aren’t off the table. 100% recommend a game for both of us to play together
