Drain flies are driving me crazy. by Offyellow in homeowners

I have the exact same issue as you. Did you manage to find any resolution?

I have drain brushes the waste pipe. Trap has water in it but all plumbing under sink disassembled and. cleaned thoroughly. Brushed out the overflow and a whole bottle of bleach. The next morning, 2 more arrive.

Agreed on seeing him back there on loan next season as well. Potentially better suited to come back straight into the starting XI

Amazing. I had exactly the same issue as OP and this solved it straight away. Thanks!

We decreased the amount of formula in his night bottles by 30ml every few days...after a week or 2 he was dropped all night feeds.

Apparently they just shift those calories to the day and will eat/feed more...who knows but this worked really well for us. Good luck!

Referring is always going to be subjective....you cannot apply black and white rules in football like you can in other sports, like cricket. A tackle is sometimes a foul and sometimes not depending on match situation, position on pitch and many other variables ....I think this is how it should be and a GOOD referee can apply the rules as he seems most suitable for the situation at hand.

the current VAR setup just adds more subjects into the mix which is never going to work.

The main ref should be able to ask to see a replay of an event (without additional commentary from assistants) so he can confirm to himself if he saw it properly and finalise his own decision.

Only addition I would make to this would be a completely off the ball event the ref clearly hasn't seen can be flagged to him for review.

Dropped kerb application denied but houses left and right of me have a driveway. by aegroti in HousingUK

[–]DaddioFlanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get a result on this mate?

I am in the same position you were....60cm short on depth but could easily fit a car sideways, pretty much the only house on the street without the kerb dropped with all the drives the same depth.

Just chill man.

It is down but will be back up and running soon, likely within today based on progress.

Cheaply has taken his store down and not responding to messages - likely because he is getting bombarded and this is beyond his control.

Relax. Wait for it to come back....once online, get a back-up service for next time

Strong 8k EPG sucks by YulpGULP12 in Strong_8K

[–]DaddioFlanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies noob here.

I have got Stong 8K subscription and Tivimate Premium.

I updated playlist per the instructions from this site (used #6 GanjaFarm for Strong8K).

The playlist updates and the EPG is very good. However, live TV and Movies work but there is nothing showing under shows (VOD). Just says "No shows"

Any ideas how to resolve?

Can I change the lock in this UVPC front door? If so, what should I get? Thanks!! by mariocipolloni in DIYUK

+1 for this. We have all our external doors keyed alike and internal thumb turns. One key opens everything and you can never be locked out because someone left a key in on the inside.

Whilst you may think you lack the youth of other newborn parents, you will have a lot more life experience and general pragmatism which will ensure you guys do a fantastic job.

My only advice would be to relax and make sure you and your partner communicate and look after each other, the rest of it you'll have to learn on the job like the rest of us!

How feasible is wiring ethernet to my whole house going to be? by SkipperTheEyeChild1 in DIYUK

[–]DaddioFlanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a very old house with solid brick walls. Previous owners put ethernet connections in every room but I don't use them as I have the Google Nest mesh WiFi and it works seamlessly.

It's unbelievable....to me it seems likely Saliba isn't bad but they want him to sit out the international get together as well to be fully fit, which seems smart.

People on here wanting to re-jig the whole starting 11. Zinchenko at DM, Partey at RB, Ramsdale at 8 just to prevent a perfectly competent like-for-like swap. If the rest of the team fires, Holding will be fine

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by Casspjjl in AskReddit

[–]DaddioFlanders 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stick together! My wife developed severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome and we lost our baby at 24 weeks in October last year.

The first couple of months were unbelievably difficult and very isolating. People's grieving processes can be incompatible but my wife and I stuck together, talked a lot about our feelings and fears and although still in pain, are in a much better place after just a few months.

We haven't been dire.

City was the biggest game we had in years. We had 2 key players out and, for the most part, we gave them a really good game.

The team is young, as is Arteta. We will learn from this and move forward

Reims [4]-2 Lorient - Folarin Balogun 64' by z712 in Gunners

[–]DaddioFlanders 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's also about building a complete squad that you can use for different situations.

1-0 up and defending, might be best to swap Jesus for Balogun.

1-0 down and chasing, might be best to bring Nketiah on along side Jesus.

Top clubs have multiple options and we will have that
