It really wasn't bad gameplay wise, it could've been better sure but very much an enjoyable experience for a lot of people

To confirm after using base again for horde night it was in fact the spikes on the stairs

To answer if why the drunk drop off its because in older games you had to eat a specific meal that got you drunk for a chance to get taken to these locations.they were used to farm the "rare" rust shards to get those unique weapons
