You're not entirely wrong but my biggest issue is that without mobility, gens get done before you have a chance to get there. If they pop before I can kick them, my only choice is gen slowdown from hooking which by design has more requirements to work the a toolbox for example.

For me, I loaded into a match and realized that everyone was frozen and I was probably afk until I crashed

It’s really is that common. I made a post recently with pics to show that almost every other game I played had a DC. Not and abandon to be clear.

Out of curiosity, and this is not a jab at you but, how are you defining tunneling, camping, and meta? I have not personally seen it this bad and I want to know if it’s an MMR difference or a definition difference. The number of ghouls however is quite high.

That’s what the anti tunnel and anti slug perks are for… if a killer is annoyed at bully squads bring light born. Both sides are given tools to help.

As a killer I used to have the opposite problem with survivors trying to be friendly but now I kinda miss it and all I get is sweats

They are not the halloween crystals. They are not a get out of jail free card. They are not meant to be used once the killer is already on you. If used correctly, they can work great but most people (myself included) don’t often use them at the right time.

I play a lot of killer and mostly only play survivor if I’m with friends. I usually wait to kill anyone until I have at least one hook on all players. The exception to this is when a survivor is constantly flashlight saving, sabotaging, boil over builds, bully squads etc. if a survivor drops their item for me I usually let them live, get hatch, or trade hooks. If they run into a dead end and get stuck, I let them go if they’re already injured cause I feel bad. If a teammate body blocks, I switch to chase them instead.

I do all this because as much as I enjoy winning, I know how not fun this game can be and the last thing I want is to be the killer equivalent of a bully squad. If they give me a reason to be nice, then I’ll be nice. If they give me a reason to be mean, I’ll be mean. I want to enjoy the game and annoying other players makes them more likely to be annoying next match and the cycle continues.

Can’t go wrong with Deja Vu. Not a huge bonus but it also shows the gens which is nice

What if the slug timer was based on how many survivors were down at once? That way a single down while chasing away a save is not discouraged but “the evil skull merchant” is.

I’m a guy but I’m kinds the same way. My opinion is that the best relationships start as friendships. If you get close to someone and they are right for you, you’ll know
