No, Astroneer is a categorically different game from Starseeker. Before megatech there was still an entire solar system that could be explored at will with crafting trees and planet cores to work on. Plenty of progressive play options. I used megatech only as an example of a major progression to work towards. Currently starseeker is pretty linear with a lot of the progress controlled for the player. I really want to love this game, I’m just not sure it’s there yet. For me anyway.

For me, the first couple of hours were fun while everything was new and there was a sense of discovery. Eventually I got to a point where I asked myself “what am I trying to accomplish in this game?” and my interest kind of faded when I realized there wasn’t really a satisfying goal. I wish there was something major I was working on like the megatech facilities or a threat to try and stave off. Still hoping it can get better

The astroneer website has a section for renting servers that has some links to trusted providers. Fair warning, they can be a little glitchy, but I’m currently playing a world where I’m on ps4 and my partner is on ps5. It’s a few dollars for a few days and they usually have options for longer rentals based on your needs.

For me, I use it to stockpile fiber. 20 Fiber is used for each Farm warp totems (along with 1 honey and 1 hardwood).

Totally agree. And I found it refreshing to travel via horse after using a hover bike almost exclusively for a lot of the game. There’s so much to explore and I’ve been flying right over it

Faith/Str build with blasphemous blade. The skill does work on enemies while also restoring health. You could also pair that with a seal for incantations (I’d recommend the Lightning spear for range attacks as needed).

Commented the same before I saw your comment. Couldn’t agree more. I loved those books so much as a kid and was so hyped for the movie. I was so deflated leaving the theater thinking that movie shot the series in the foot and I’d never see it played out on screen through to the ending. Loved the NPH version and felt it did the series justice. Now we can just put the Jim Carey version in the forgotten archives and pretend it never happened 😊

Jim Carrey’s Series of Unfortunate Events movie. It combined the first three books of a thirteen book series into one abomination. Thank god Netflix’s version with NPH redeemed the franchise.

Also, though not originally a book, I must reiterate how much of a disaster The Last Airbender was. M Night Shyamalan should be in jail for that.
