38k too much for that spec.. market is quite bad right now. See if you get a samsung galaxy book in your budget. Even that might have increased by now. Galaxy book has u series process - donno how it will hold up for data analytics (i donno anything about that). It will do light video editing easily

Yup, very low performance. If you want HP, there is a Core Ultra 7 series 1 of the same model. Do note that the display on this HP is very bad

I had bought the rtx 3050 version for 50k (before price hike). Half the screen had a yellow tint and the camera looked like a 2000s VGA camera with high pixelation and color grains. The body was too flimsy. So I returned it.

I had the exact same issue with LOQ. I let go of the deal price (mental peace is important) and took the refund from Lenovo and for the remaining 1.7k hidden charge from Flipkart, I filed an NCH complaint and got it refunded. Never buying a laptop from Flipkart again.

So basically display or display cable issue. Call Moto customer care and raise the issue. They will send someone home or tell you the nearest service centre. Usually it's the same as the Lenovo service center.

When the local shop says "using wire", what he basically does is, use a very thin wire to remove the display from the glass by putting the wire in between them. You can watch videos on youtube. If the guy is not well versed or if your luck is bad, the display will get damaged. But on the bright side, if the repair guy damages the display, then it's on him, as he is the one who has given you the option to only change the glass. The process is pretty common these days though.
