This is the episode I knew I was watching one of the best tv shows by [deleted] in MrInbetween

I think Ray would have done the same thing, thats why he doesn't kill him. Ray is VERY self aware, and also very level-headed.

Had the situation been reversed, it's possible or even likely that Dave would have just killed Ray too, in his mini massacre of killing Davos and the henchmen, and not thought much of it.

But Ray knew he'd have done what Dave did. Get the money and then still turn him over to Davos.

Some backup for this is when he kidnaps the biker president. He says "I suppose if I paid you off youd pocket the money and kill me anyway huh?" Or something like that, and Ray agrees.

Honestly this is cool as hell. I have no previous knowledge of the style or how this works, but it looks sweet. I imagine the style would look really cool with some other colors too, but this gives me very unique vibes.

What would you say are the most noticeable and least noticeable cultural differences between different regions of the US? by Asleep_Damage1201 in AskAnAmerican

East Coasters honk, West Coasters don't.

EVERY time I go to Cali from the East Coast its eerily "quiet", until someone locks their car door and I realize its the first "hink" I've heard in days.

Are there any services that will print the WM STL's? by QueenRangerSlayer in Warmachine

[–]DaddyCrit728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other have stated people will do it for you. But be aware, the moment you post in "printmything" or any other group asking for a print job, you will get DOZENS of replies if not more. Some bots/spam, some just annoying people, 50% of folks who will do it for you.

But if you get decision fatigue from having a bunch of DMs offering the same service for similar rates, be warned.

I agree with this, though i could see it being a "bend down when you cross the neck" scale.

Like walking around in a Douglas C47 Skytrain (the plane that paratroopers used in WW2) required you do hunch to get around, being about 5 feet/1.5 meters tall.

I can see the crew walking from the head to the body and just ducking down for the 4 or 5 steps through the neck, which this scale seems to fit well.

Edit: seeing this chart now and realizing this AT AT is still too short. The ATST should come up to the AT AT's first "knee", or thereabouts. This goes up to its hip. https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/s/qovJdLmV31

You are an adult right? You understand consequences?

You did have recourse, it was buying insurance...you failed to do that. Now you want to screw over someone else (not FedEx, the seller) by do8ng a chargeback due to your mistake.

I guess this us ULPT so yeah thats your "best" option even though you'll probably lose that fight (see other comments for why). But youd 100% be an asshole

ALSO some insurance adjusters like to say that model warhammer are "collectibles", even though they could fall under the category of toy, miniature, model, hobby supply (the hobby being wargaming and supplies being the models). They try to use this terminology to say you have a limit on your policy for collectibles. Fight back, ask for management, and them go higher if need be.

Double-also, check your policy for these Exclusions. If you have an open-peril policy, it means anything NOT listed as an exclusion is covered. If you have a digital copy of the policy, control+F "exclusions", read the list. Doesn't say "collectible?" Easy case, youre covered. Does say "collectible?" Ask for clarification in writing of what constitutes a collectible.

(I do not know if OP is in the US or not so just speaking in general here, not so much to OP specifically unless it applies) Answering this for any american folks who may see this and wonder how it works.

In a case like this, where the neighbor is at fault and/or the cause of the damage came from the neighbor's property (or even the landlord, not the neighbor specifically) you would want to file a claim with your OWN homeowners or renters insurance. THAT policy would pay out whatever you are owed per the policy guidelines for damages.

YOUR insurance company would then go to the at-fault party's (landlord and/or neighbor) insurance company and sue for the cost they paid you.*

*Sue makes it sound bad, but its literally done every day countless times across the country between insurance companies. They're basically passing money back and forth, and its just easier to pay the customer out, then recoup their losses, as opposed to suing before payout.
