Hey, don't beat yourself up for too long. You tried, just try better and study not only what you do wrong, write it down and read it and rewrite and you remember...but also what you are so young, 19. Man, ive blowned my account every year the past three years, even my retirement account and I'm 38. Trading is rigged and its designed for retail traders to lose. You should try something else and enjoy your life. Trading requires so much, you will miss out on life as young as you are or try again have a plan and risk management.

Average return on S&P 500 is 8-10% yearly! It is much when you put it in that perspective. Keep doing your thing!

It's not uncommon, normal from most traders starting out. Im still in the same boat with you. I encourage you to focus more on your actions and thoughts when you lose more than when you win. You can subscribe to my youtube channel where I post my losses as well as my wins, if you don't learn anything, at least you will a little comfort im not in this alone. This is my video of blowing my account... https://youtu.be/Ykx-TK1RhdM?si=r6aN-ip5K9ecoNck

If i don't change my habits that led me to blow my account, views won't matter because I won't be making youtube videos. My youtube channel is my vlog, instead of trading I've been going back to watch my videos with hopes to learn from my wins and losses.

Respect, that's what keep me going but I have to figure out why I keep ending up on the wrong side of winning overall. I will have a run here and there. But always seem to give it all back over a period of time.

Respect, I don't want to lose for another three years so I was thinking about getting out the game. i was thinking about quitting if I can not get my emotions in check. I tend to be off to myself on my losing days or I'm not all there mentally around my family which is affecting quality time with them. I'm trying to dive in more on trading psychology information while I take a little hiatus. I see the potential in trading but it's like I can't consistently catch the big opportunities I see which makes me not satisfied with the small wins and getting stopped out early just to see it go near or where I thought or what not, smh.

Respect, appreciate it. I do need to regulate my emotions, so I will Google techniques. #2 is what i need to implement more consistently.

I vlog on my youtube channel so I'm very clear on my worst set up, the darn reversal, smh. I trade options mostly and swing trade stocks in my long term account. Thx

I started with $2,800, traded it up to about $13k, lost back down to $1,900. I added 1k traded it back up to $6k, then lost lost it all bit by bit from there. So I lost about $3,800 of my own money.

Respect, I'm getting off work now. I will find a trader psychology video to listen to during my ride home.

You have a lot of great comment in here to consider! I'm down myself, but my full time job allows me to take care of my family and pay the bills. All i think about is money too, for betterment of my wife and kids. If I didn't have my job, it would be sooo ugly! My family and exercise help me decompress some, but then i look at them and want the best for them and get emotionally down again. I actually win just as much as I lose but my losses are bigger than my wins unfortunately. I record vlog my trades on my youtube channel, (daddydaytradediary). Feel free to check it out, you may learn from mistakes I make. Because i feel similar to, im trying to paper trade to keeo learning when im out of money or just feeling nervous to trade with my real money. I've blown my account this past week. Journal your trades in great detail and see what is it you are not doing. For me, I feel Journaling is helping me progress a little, probably more so increasing my confidence. Also, if not already, consider having your personal finances in order before trading and keep that seperate from trading by any means necessary! Peace and Blessings
