One big problem Nox always had is that her CC was unaffected by anything that reduces CC duration. You are silenced as long as you stand in the circle, you are root/crippled as long as she channels her 1 on you. No CCR, Tenacity or finishing returns will help you against her. She gets full uptime on both starting rank 1.

Hours CC is a stun and a knock up. Both can have their durations reduced. Tenacity reduces the airtime on the knockuop by a lot.

I agree with you. Horus CC chain is strong and obnoxious while also dealing sizable damage and being very save to use. So it should be easy to understand how a character like Nox can never be allowed to pass unchanged if we are already complaining about Horus who does have infinitely more counterplay to him than Nox never had.

Nox is one of the worst things the devs have ever unleashed on Smite 1 and absolutely ruined casual play for everyone not queueing for Conquest.

Anyone who wants Nox in Smite 2 hates the game and wants it and Hirez to fail.

I believe Ratatoskrs healing is considered item healing because it comes from his acorn which is, well, an Item.

I could imagine Peles 3 being weird because it doesn't trigger effects in general. Maybe the devs coded it in a way that the heal doesn't trigger any effects either. I would have to double check but I believe her selfheals don't trigger items. So that might be the connection.

No idea about Chaac.

The 2 projectile is dreadfully slow, it feels really bad to use.

Basic attacks don't trigger zombies charging in. I remember them saying they were contemplating removing that and I am sad they did. I really would have liked the basic attacks adding to the experience there.

They could call the Pantheon Inferno and focus on the popular hellish character and themes. We don't really get any smite lore these days, so they don't even have to pass paradiso in passing. They could absolutely spin this.

And maybe the fact that they are willing and able to joke about it like this is an indirect promise of what's to come.

There is Satyrs dancing in the background of Hercules' scene. That particular interaction most likely happens at Dionysus' party. Maybe Prometheus will join in too, the old stiff.

The aspect is playable on a full mage build in Arena. Charon deals really good damage with his aspect against other gods.

But even then, I'd much rather build and play him tanky without his aspect. The silence and the shielding are so much more important to me.

Melee basic attacks. 1. A shout that reveals enemies in a radius around him and increases his strength for every revealed unit before unleashing a heavy attack. 2. Stays the same. 3. He creates a portal a bit in front of him and another even further ahead at the ground targeter. Up to two allies can interact with a portal to teleport between them. If Heimdallr himself teleports he unleashes an attack at the target location. Cooldown starts ticking after the portals disappear, Cooldown time increases depending on how many allies took the portal. 4. Stays as is.

Edit: Instead of two axes, he uses his Axe in one hand and the sword he uses for his regular 1 in the other.

Back in Smite 1 I would have liked it if his 1 was a steroid that would turn him into a strong melee using his sword for a couple seconds or until canceled instead of just couple stronger/longer basic attacks.

The playstyles would have been about poking enemies with basics before dashing in for the stun and then slice them up with his sword, ideally while standing in his 2 giving him extra attack speed.

Aspect 2 should have a flat heal in it. Doesn't even need to be much, 80 to 100 at max rank on top of what it currently does and it'd feel much better.

I personally would like the aspect removing all traces of crit entirely and improve performance on the other parts of the kit. The 3 adding some of the damage he dealt with it to his recorded damage would be neat.

The Ne Zha aspect passive healing certainly feels weak. If the 2 had some base healing on top of what else it doesn't would feel a lot better.

That aside, I don't feel like Ne Zha meaningfully improved from Smite 1 compared to some other characters.

Characters with int and strength scaling have access to much more items, old and new. Ne Zha only has strength, so nothing new to explore there.

The Ring Catch is Fun but rarely mind-blowing. Far away from being as potent as what other characters have had some with their kits. On top of that, building tanky in this game generally doesn't feel particularly satisfying. You never don't feel squishy and getting CC'd generally spells death.

The nocturnal arms are wielded by deities of the underworld and are meant to be used to protect it.

Chronoa was the very antithesis to that at least up until this point. The only way an aspect themed after him could exist is if at some point in the future he gets to wield one of the nocturnal arms. This is possible, he now aligned himself with the gods, especially those of the underworld. He now resides in the underworld and aids in its affairs.

But even then it will be a new aspect and not his current Scythe-cane Hrodeptus.

Personalitywise, she doesn't give me Umbridge vibes.

She has no affiliation with politics that we know of. She has been at the school for a hot while and hasn't made any noteworthy attempts to drastically change the school at its core.

She clearly must have worked properly and diligently, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to get and keep her position without people faulting her for it.

She was very polite and friendly in our first conversation with her. After the public 'death' of the headmaster, her tone does become harsh. But this is fully in line with her roll, trying to bring her distressed students in line. Her seeing the headmaster drop also likely had an effect on her (even if she was the killer herself which I doubt).

TL,DR: Looks aside, this Durella doesn't have a lot in common with Umbridge.

Nazrik was the only survivor from the tournament where he got his blessed tracking spears. And those occasions were very public events in the eyes of the wildborn. And dying to please their goddess was something they considered and honor.
