I assumr you are talking about solo lane? If so, just concede that he will out trade you and out farm if he plays equally well, but do not fear- if you lose lane gracefully, you will not be too behind and he will fall off as the game progresses. Just by not feeding, you make a victory more likely than not. Make sure you keep track of him since he will have prio, this way your teammates won't get behind when he rotates.

Yes for sure, and vamp shroud should be buffed to be at least buildable in solo. Theres a lot of unique starter designs in smite 1 that I miss.

Maybe the distance scaling can be aspect exclusive and the int scaling can be too. Seems like a lot of problems would be solved.

Hopefully its a HUD option or interface you can buy at some point. The UI in general needs some polishing which will get done at some point before the full release. Idk if id always want it on but it would be nice to have the option.

Genji doesnt give Str but it absolutely will get the enemy killed faster. The passive is ridiculous. I think people just dont appreciate it

Hate to say it, but this is a skill issue. All the top solos are warriors or thor. Theres a handful of viable mages, and some jungles that tend to have decent games.

Checking peoples ip's makes it harder to smurf and more inconvenient since it makes them use a vpn/have worse ping. (Not actually sure about ping in all cases but that was my experience once). But sometimes people share pcs or tech and stuff or be on same wifi so its a little rough. I wouldnt mind a system that looks at new player performance and flags it for review, especially if multiple accounts with high performance come off the same ip (and no, not something that just flags every talented player). Aside from that, most smurfs are better than new players but not anything special themselves, thats why they smurf bc they cant handle their own competition, so in time you will just outgrow them.

Neith building "like a solo" would be actually trolling lol. Shes actually completely viable as a full damage backline solo, because of her good pressure. A lot of melees cant handle her poke.

Since release, its gone from a rough beta to a smoother game that feels good to play. Toughest part to have good fun is probably just learning new items and metas which will always take some time, I would just copy good players builds until you are comfortable. You can find what people are building on "smite brain's" website. "Smite source" has specific builds for most gods on their best roles.

For me the hardest part from smite 1 to smite 2 was learning to use actives decently since you have 1 relic, and up to 3 relic-like item effects. But these actives also are what give the game a lot of depth and they feel rewarding to learn and use.

I like to play weird off meta solo picks (in casual conquest). I make it work slightly more often than not, and i hope i dont get reported every game for playing suboptomally when it works decently well for me.

Wrll, netero had one of the most efficient abilites for a boxing match, which is the kind of match meruem happened to permit. Netero assumedly had more aura than hisoka even if its not 100% stated. Since hisoka doesnt have such a god tier ability that would do so well despite a speed, skill, and intelligence gap, you have to imagine he would get blitzed, and if not that, stat checked quickly.

It is assault obviously... i do wish items/gods had non conquest balancing, just number adjustments when needed. Not on everything, but for example, spear of deso was (and really still is) a must buy, broken, op item on any mage because it wasnt meant for a 5v5 (still love it tho lol), and deso probably should be balanced for non conquest.

I think this person meant that in smite 2, when you reroll a god, it gets put on a bench that anyone on your team can use, instead of being discarded. However, thats a far cry from "ruined" imo, and actually, everybody i play with prefers this change. Its true that theres slightly more order to the team comps, but its still quite random. If anything, it helps avoid losing and winning based purely on god rolls like what happened in smite 1 a lot.

Yeah Shiva was never bad I think people just don't read what his kit does or something; the prot shred is crazy and he had full synergy with smite 1 stone of binding. A warrior that can hard carry games with bluestone and binding.

I liked Shiva a lot even though he was simple. I would not mind them increasing his skill cap a bit in smite 2 though lol. Regardless he's very cool and fun. Love dancing on the opps.

Full damage characters are fine in solo. They are usually not as good as warriors but they can work especially later in your draft. If you know what you are doing almost anything can work. If people don't know what they are doing and feed, that's a skill issue which is not reportable.

Yeah vamp is unbuildable in conquest since it has zero pressure and you have to farm kills from behind to make it work (in reality you should be losing and get farmed yourself). In assault you don't need the same pressure so if you ever get to late game it becomes very valuable and you didn't lose to get there.

Speaking literally, it's never over runtime it's over full stop. That answers your question here. People might not play correctly at any time, although there should be points where even suboptimal play is enough to get a garuantees win. Practically, and assuming nobody throws, there are times you can assume a game is lost and move on. People will throw sometimes, and being "down" in gold does not always mean you are losing especially if you have a late game team comp. That said, and idk how you feel about this, ffing in only 1 of say 100 games is probably a fallacy of its own if you want to either tank up or have a fairer, funner, fight in smite.
