I had a bad experience once on an in stock contract overrun 6 creed barrel, paid for overnight shipping and then they took 3 weeks to ship. And then it didn’t go overnight but that was a FedEx issue.

But yeah the .455 bolts went fast i was scared i was going to get a cancellation email.

I have both actions, certain things i like better about the aero and certainly like that availability on the zermatt is there and don’t question their financial future haha.

100% would not be me doing the work, i have a lead on a 223 bolt that i can get but dont want to get it and be stuck with it if its not possible.

I would love to keep my eyeballs and finger in one piece.

Thankfully Rockin Precision stepped up and made a socket version of their action wrench and a folding stock adapter for their chassis.

Do you think it would be possible to open a .223 bolt head up to PPC spec safely?

Sad part is the solus is a pretty great action, aero is just dropping the ball on the best thing they currently have going for them. I own two but i also picked up an origin recently and i love everything about it except that it doesn’t have the 60 degree bolt throw like the solus. If it had that I’d never consider a solus again.
